Microsoft Corporation Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing - Xbox Lifecycle Strategy in New York, New York

At the Xbox Lifecycle team, our mission is to drive customer engagement across digital marketing channels to deepen the relationship with our members. As the Digital Marketing Sr. Manager , you will lead and define the Lifecycle omnichannelstrategy for the Xbox Platforms across digital channels. You will create targeted and personalized experiences that engage our customers at post launch stages of the customer funnel (from onboarding and engagement to upsell and churn) across email, mobile, web, console and in-product channels. Youwilldeterminewhich customer segments wetargetacross which channels and marketsforXbox Platforms, with the goal of driving user engagement and retention across the funnel. You will lead the Welcome & Onboarding program for all new users entering the Xbox ecosystem via console as well as the ongoing lifecycle campaigns to drive upsell and churn reduction.

You will also provide cross-functional guidance tomembers of the widerDigital Engagement organizationthatoverseecustomer experience, design,campaign execution,operations,and analytics, and partner very closely with Product Marketing and Engineering teams to land the product strategy into digital communications.Thisrole is critical to the Lifecycle team and organization as user engagement is a key business priority. We are looking for a seasoned leader with a strong collaborative style, action driven attitude and growth hacking mindset.


  • 5-7 years’experience creating and managing consumer-facingdigital marketingcampaigns, such asweb, email, mobile, and in-product

  • Excellent leadership skillsand ability toinfluencecross-functional partners

  • Superiorcampaignmanagementskillsand strategic thinking, fromlanding Product Marketing strategyon the digital channels, to developingchannel tactics andmanageinternal partnersthroughexecution

  • Strong quantitative,analytical,andcritical thinking skills. Ability to synthesize data and analytics to understand performance and drive optimizations in current and future campaigns.

  • Skilledpresenter,communicator,and collaborator; abletoarticulate strategies andset proper expectations based on business priorities

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability toprioritize andmanage multiple projects against multiple timelines, at once

  • Working knowledge ofdigitalCMS solutions,e.g.,Adobe Experience Manager, Braze, etc.

  • Knowledge of tactics, performance metrics, and optimization best practices for directanddigitalchannels(search, web, social, mobile, email, etc.)

  • Ability to be highly organized and to function well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to solve conflict and align cross-functional teams towards a common goal

  • Passionate about fostering an inclusive, diverse team culture

  • Bachelor’s Degreerequired. MBA desired but not required.

  • Devisestandards ofpersonalization,testing,measurement,and campaign optimizationacrossourdigitalchannels, in partnership with Analytics and Data Science teams

  • Deliver campaign results that meet or exceed business goals. Communicate results to a wide set of audiences, including executives
