Amazon Corporate LLC Sr Manager, Public Relations in New York, New York

Amazon is seeking a seasoned, strategic, creative, and analytical communications professional with a proven track record of building high performance, high impact communications teams and communications programs for large, fast-moving, global organizations.

The Sr Manager, Public Relations, is responsible for developing and executing PR programs in support of third-party sellers and brands on Amazon. The role is responsible for leading efforts to inform and educate key audiences on how Amazon is supporting and growing selling partners.

This individual will work closely with senior executives on communications planning, programming and content development, proactive and reactive media relations, speaking opportunities and events, and social media and owned channel activities. They will partner with key leaders across the business to further develop and strengthen Amazon's narrative and proof points in the areas customers and third-party sellers and brands care about most. In addition to creating and executing proactive communications initiatives, this role will handle issues management and ensure that Amazon is accurately covered in the news. The role with focus on North America, and support teams in effective rollout of programming globally.

The successful candidate must be able to effectively collaborate and partner with teams including cross-channel marketing, owned channel and content, internal communications, community engagement, public policy, as well as a range of business functions.

This role has a significant focus on earned media and the ideal candidate will be a media relations expert. They will own relationships with key reporters and drive innovative and ground-breaking PR campaigns to enhance Amazon's corporate reputation.

\* Minimum of 10 years of public relations experience
\* Expertise in consumer, retail and corporate media relations and PR initiatives.
\* Excellent written and oral communications skills.
\* Bachelor's degree
