Want to be on the forefront of building a true planning-led sales organization?! Our Sales Planning team is working to reimagine the customer relationship and how we will lead strategy, seasonal merchandising, go-to-market and business management through the planning lens in a way that exceeds expectations.
We are looking for an innovator, strategic thinker and coach who is excited to take on the opportunity to redefine best in class planning as our Senior Manager, Sales Planning for a global key account.
WHAT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Lead, coach, drive and inspire a team and foster a winning culture that aligns with our adidas brand values.
Drive the execution and accountability of the financial and merchandising plans, from monthly management out to our long-term ambitions
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive profitable sales growth for adidas and the customer
Partner with Sales VP to develop and curate the customer engagement model that brings our account strategy to life
Collaborate with US Director of Sales Planning and the Sales Planning Leadership Team to define the direction and business model for North America
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Broad and deep knowledge of retail and merchandising with a proven track record of successfully growing a business
Excellent understanding of retail math, gross margin and inventory planning
Flexibility to adapt and change with the flow of the retail industry
Ability to effectively work in a highly matrixed environment
Proven ability to communicate strategies and influence key stakeholders of all levels
QUALIFICATONS:
Undergraduate degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising
6+ years of experience in buying, planning, allocation or sales for a multi-store retailer
2+ years of people leadership experience preferred
Strong team player and ability to work with cross-functional partners across all aspects of the business
