We are looking for a seasoned Product Manager, Tech who is excited about building an industry leading, next generation advertising solution. In this role you will be responsible for developing the e2e product from scratch with a dedicated engineering team. This is a highly visible program through which you will work across multiple organizations.
The right candidate will possess strong problem solving skills and, ability to identify and test business opportunities across a new domain. You must be able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
You must be able to communicate up, down, and out, to both technical and business leaders. You must be able to successfully drive, architect and build ad products based on the vision, anticipate bottlenecks, and balance the business needs against technical constraints. You must be able to take large, complex problems and break them down into manageable micro services, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Being a self starter, showing maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role. Key job responsibilities
Define the product vision, manage key stakeholders in Ads, Grocery, Physical store orgs. You own the creation, evaluation, prioritization of the product roadmap.
Work closely with research, UX, marketing, legal, and your dedicated engineering team to define product vision, create product roadmap, deliver product features that raise the bar for customer and advertiser experiences.
Establish and manage partnership with Amazon Ads, and Grocery domains, evangelize our unique product offering, and expand the team charter and customer impact
Act as a force multiplier within Ads org by creating, improving and operating mechanisms that drive higher velocity and customer impact for features and key decisions.
Define and own business and feature metrics for customer engagement and operational reliability
Build scalable architecture and solutions that scale across regions, locales, and store formats.
Evaluate technical alternatives and decompose significantly complex problems into straightforward technical propositions.
About the team
The Amazon Ads Org is an industry leading and fast growing advertising business focused on delivering great ad products and solutions for a broad base of customers. As part of the Amazon's Ads org, we are the Physical Stores Advertising team. We take on a unique and innovative space, focusing on growing advertising with Amazon's Grocery businesses (Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, Amazon Go) both online and within their brick-and-mortar stores. You will make advertising a material differentiator for how our Grocery businesses generate profit through ads monetization, while ensuring our advertising is highly relevant, engaging, and positive to the shopper experiences.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
5+ years of technical product or program management experience
Bachelor's degree
Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
Experience managing technical products or online services
Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
MBA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
