Amazon's Global Marketing Team is looking for a seasoned marketer to join our Social Advertising team to help build our growing traffic channel. The Social Advertising team is focused on leveraging all viable social media advertising platforms to grow Amazon businesses. The team is looking for top notch marketers who can create and define successful product marketing strategies, execute a set of well-structured tests, roll out successful campaigns, and optimize performance over time against a clear set of performance goals.

To be successful in this role you will need to both see the big picture and be able and willing to execute rapidly. You will understand both the art and science of online marketing and have proven experience setting up structured marketing tests and analyzing results for actionable insights. You will have proven success in driving substantial results, ideally in B2C branding, customer acquisition, lead generation and/or revenue generation, specifically utilizing large scale social advertising programs. You will be comfortable working with complex challenges, appreciate white space and autonomy, and understand the value of a rapid test and learn approach. You will be savvy about how to leverage large data sets to create sophisticated advertising programs. You'll have a global mindset, and be equally comfortable working with marketers, product managers, engineers, and teams ranging from finance to analytics.

Key job responsibilities
\* Work cross-functionally with engineering to develop new automated programs from end to end.
\* Oversee the daily operations of global advertising programs
\* Define experimental frameworks and optimize campaign set ups for driving meaningful insights.
\* Define the metrics and processes needed to standardize the management of advertising campaigns
\* Work directly with social networks to understand platforms capabilities and explore marketing campaigns
\* Design and carry out well-structured experiments (including tracking, measuring, and reporting)
\* Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders and teams to iterate on objectives and opportunities
\* 5+ years of progressive responsibility including experience in online marketing, product management, and/or analytics
\* Experience managing online marketing channels such as social media marketing, display advertising, and search engine marketing
\* Experience with direct response marketing
\* Bachelor's degree
\* MBA or master's degree in economics, marketing, finance or related fields
\* Statistical analysis experience
\* Tableau, SQL, or basic data-mining experience
\* Excellent awareness of emerging Social Media Platforms
\* Deep analytical abilities, especially with respect to experimental design and measurement
\* Proven track record of successful online marketing experiments
\* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\* Ability to partner cross-functionally with a variety of teams world-wide
\* Strong technical competency and ability to learn new systems and work with technology teams
\* Meets/exceeds Amazon's leadership principles requirements for this role
\* Meets/exceeds Amazon's functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
