Position Overview Diligent is looking for an undergraduate student to
work with our fantastic Enterprise Account Management team during the
summer of 2020. The EAM team is responsible for growing Diligent
customers to larger investments in our expansive portfolio of governance
solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience in sales
processes working for one of the largest B2B Software-as-a-Service
companies headquartered in NYC. This is the perfect opportunity for a
driven individual to join our team to help us solve a problem of
resourcing additional customer contacts and performing strategic account
research. The purpose of this role is to support the Enterprise Account
Managers to more broadly and deeply penetrate accounts utilizing new
personas and to provide deep research to align customer initiatives to
Diligent products. The intern will gain insights into foundational,
operational go-to-market processes for enterprise selling functions. The
experience gained will include best practices for account research, and
identification and sourcing of new contacts, that will be leveraged by
Client Executives to further penetrate accounts. The intern's work
product will free the Client Executive to focus on critical
customer-facing activities such as meetings and demos. In addition, the
development of new contact targets and account research will enable the
Client Executives to perform outreach to the best senior stakeholders,
and drive more productivity out of meetings based on relevant account
research. Key Responsibilities Learn how to leverage (please use the
apply button below), ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Annual
Reports to identify key stakeholders in senior executive roles within
our customer base, and import them into Diligent systems for operational
use by EAM and Marketing Working from a list of prioritized key Diligent
customers, representing best upsell opportunities, will perform research
to identify new senior executive contacts for future sales and marketing
outreach. Complete research on key accounts identified by EAMs to help
uncover upsell opportunities In addition to the persona account research
the intern will establish prospecting cadences in Salesloft for EAMs to
perform automated customer outreach. Required Experience/Skills:
Full-time undergraduate Interest in Customer Success, Account Management
or Sales as a future career option Must be a team player with strong
attention to detail and an analytical approach Knowledge and experience
working with Salesforce is an advantage. Strong capability in MS Excel;
proficient in Word and PowerPoint. Availability for 8 weeks from Mid
June to Mid August
