Adobe's video business continues to grow. We are looking to recruit passionate, knowledgeable video professionals to help develop and expand the adoption of Adobe's video products, across all markets. The Strategic Development Manager for Video will join a successful team that focuses on the key customer and industry relationships that help shape the future direction and success of Adobe's video tools. They will work also with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing and Sales to participate in cross-functional Go to Market initiatives through Creative Cloud video and audio solutions.
You will have worked in either video post-production, production, marketing, or communications specializing in video content for social media platforms. You have very strong technical video industry knowledge. You are a self-starting, motivated individual who is adept at solving problems independently. You will have the abilities to own and manage activities across your market vertical. You will be happy working alone and in small groups. Social Video creation is your passion. You are willing and able to travel domestically and internationally. Strategic business development is an area that interests you and you have strong market development ideas and experience. You are motivated by the challenges of growing and developing new markets. Customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything you do.
The successful candidate will be comfortable presenting and engaging in meetings and discussions with executives both externally and inside Adobe. Candidates will be seasoned professionals who understands social media platforms, influencers, trends and the video production business from process, business and technical perspectives.
Key contributor for the global video business development and evangelist team
Develop and execute strategy to accelerate category growth within social media video platforms
Help define and lead enablement and adoption initiatives for Adobe's video tools
Help drive community and industry engagement to promote Adobe's position in social video
Travel to visit customers and to contribute to video industry and community events
5 or more years related experience in post-production, production, social marketing, or video communications.
Experience working with cross functional teams is an advantage
Additional experience in Business Development and/or Product management is preferable
Experience managing strategic customer engagements

Strong communication and presentation skills
In-depth knowledge of the social media platforms and the video production industry
Established network in the social media community, influencers as well as hosted platforms
In-depth knowledge of video technology including competing and complementary products
Knowledge of and experience with Adobe's video tools
Strong interpersonal skills. Has developed, in previous roles, strong, lasting relationships with multiple stakeholders, partners and customers
Strong organizational skills
