Facebook’s Publisher Solutions helps publishers monetize their mobile apps and mobile websites through access to millions of global Facebook advertisers. Leveraging people-based marketing, we make it easy for publishers to show their audience better, more relevant ads while driving the best results for advertisers.

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Partner Manager, reporting to the Global Head of Partner Management, Publisher Solutions with the primary goal of leading the development, execution and scaled growth of our strategic partnerships with ecosystem partners.

The Strategic Partner Manager is the face of Facebook to our partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about Facebook's mission and committed to unlocking value for developers, businesses, advertisers and users alike has domain knowledge, functional experience and expertise in business development, strategic partnerships in the mobile or digital advertising ecosystem.

We are looking for a strong leader who has demonstrated success in building and scaling alliances.Owning outcomes, attention to detail, problem-solving across multiple work-streams with some ambiguity and mapping cross-functional decision trees are essential skills for this role. You should feel comfortable leading in an evolving environment with multiple work streams. This position is full-time and can be based out of our offices in Menlo Park, CA, San Francisco, CA, or New York, NY, and requires local and regional travel required (20% annually).

Required Skills:

  1. Own a strategic partnership, its success, and measurement and execution of its partnership goals

  2. Establish and build meaningful relationships as the primary point of contact with key organizational stakeholders and manage C-suite relationships with partners to help deliver mutually beneficial products and services to our customers

  3. Build trust, influence and leverage within partner organization

  4. Plan scope and feature set of programs with partners. Build alliances with partners by defining joint roadmaps, managing multiple top to top touch points, and maintaining partner health

  5. Work closely with product, engineering, product marketing, legal, and policy, to create value and deliver results for our customers and partners

  6. Maintain deep understanding of Partner Tech stack, Business & Strategy in context of the partnership, Ecosystem and Competitive Landscape

  7. Proactively resolve business and operational issues with partners and be an internal advocate for them

  8. Work with Sales Operations to set goals, actively measure impact of initiatives and ensure alignment with broader business teams

  9. Monitor, influence and enforce payments, audit requirements and contractual compliance with partners

  10. Define partner success requirements, produce qualitative and quantitative analysis of partner and product/service impact, and analyze and communicate key partner performance metrics and business trends

  11. Maintain a cadence of regular syncs with partners to understand their roadmaps and priorities to proactively identify opportunities to grow the partnership beyond any initial deal

  12. Advocate for the partner internally and for the business needs externally with the partner

  13. Represent Facebook Publisher Solutions in external meetings with seasoned executives, both internally and externally

  14. Execute in an intense, fast-paced, and highly iterative environment

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BA or BS Degree

  2. 8+ years of work experience, including 5+ years of client facing, alliance/partner management/business development experience

  3. Interpersonal and communication experience

  4. Knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem and advertising technology

  5. Interpersonal experience navigating organizations and developing relationships

  6. Experience working cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Masters Degree/MBA (in a relevant domain)

  2. Experience leading an alliance with a partners across multiple programs/products/lines of business

  3. Ability to build long-term relationships with individuals across all levels of an organization

  4. Experience navigating and enforcing contracts

  5. Strong experience and knowledge of the mobile/advertising ecosystem

  6. Results and detail-oriented

  7. Commercial and business acumen
