Ernst & Young Capital Advisors, LLC (EYCA) offers investment banking and capital markets advisory services to our clients, with access to a global network of EY mergers & acquisitions, equity, convertible, and debt capital markets professionals. Our EY Capital Markets Advisory team provides product expertise and independent, objective advice across the capital markets product spectrum.
The opportunity
Our Equity Capital Markets group partners with our clients as they consider capital markets financing alternatives. Specifically, the team helps clients prepare for and execute critical transactions including IPOs, follow-on equity, convertible debt and call spread offerings, and private capital raises. The team also provides broad advice to issuers as they consider capital structure alternatives and capital return policies. As a key part of our team, you will provide our clients with data and analysis to develop meaningful content, tailored insights, and critical, unbiased recommendations that our clients highly value.
Your key responsibilities
Advising clients on strategic alternatives and corporate finance solutions
Researching, reviewing, and tracking precedent transactions
Analyzing convertible and call spread pricing/valuation and liability management alternatives
Preparing and delivering compelling presentations and pitches
Being a flexible and energetic part of a dynamic team helping companies achieve formative transactions
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor's degree and at least 2-3 years of related work experience on an equity-linked desk
Familiarity with convertible pricing, and comfort manipulating models
Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
Efficient use of research databases, technical ability to formulate/leverage data
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Significant level of personal accountability
Willingness to be available at all times when necessary
Ideally, you'll also have
Experience working on capital return and other derivatives transactions
Experience gained within another large professional services organization
Established networking skills in a relevant industry

What we offer
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $125,000 to $185,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
