PVH Corp. Stylist PDP - Temporary- Tommy Hilfiger in New York, New York

ABOUT THNY CREATIVE STUDIO:

The THNA Creative Studio is a full-service, in-house integrated creative agency, supporting marketing and communications initiatives for Tommy Hilfiger, The Americas.

The Studio Team is responsible for managing all areas of photo/video production, retouching, digital and print production to deliver a coherent and consistent visually branded message across all marketing channels. Marketing channels include, but are not limited to, direct to consumer, email marketing, point of sale, e-commerce, wholesale, social media, influencer marketing, advertising, public relations and events.

ABOUT POSITION :

The Stylist is responsible for the articulation of the brand through marketing in visual styling that will affect the

E-commerce business in North America. They will work closely with the Lead Stylist to develop and execute key looks for E-Commerce PDP imagery. The Stylist will help manage internal Styelouts and lead on-set styling direction for E-Commerce photoshoots.

The Stylist will work closely cross-functionally to understand business needs and drive the development and execution of key seasonal looks across various categories including Sportswear, Tommy Jeans and Underwear. They are an essential partner to Art Directors and Photographers to ensure the on-set styling direction is executed and product focuses are captured. Additionally, they will support Post-Production providing product retouching guidance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Partner with the Lead Stylist and cross-funcational teams to develop commercial looks and execute styling direction by understanding seasonal strategies and knowledge of product buys (units, delivery and design) to ensure correct product is advertised during the appropriate period of availability

  • Primary focus on translating the vision and storytelling to product detail page (PDP) imagery for Tommy Hilfiger North America

  • Work closely with Art Directors and Photographers to ensure the on-set styling direction is executed and product focuses are captured

  • Interpret and translate advertising and campaign assets whilst considering commercial needs

  • Manage internal Styleouts inclusive of capturing fit images and building a looks deck with detail notes

  • Uphold Lead Stylist’s direction for E-Commerce PDP photoshoots while on set

  • Partner with the Sr. Director Creative Studio and Art Directors on the casting of models, look assignments, hair + makeup direction, props (licensing) and overall brand positioning for seasonal photoshoot needs.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot sample issues before each seasonal photoshoot to ensure product focus and adaptations are accurately represented and captured on-set

  • Works alongside with Art Directors to deliver post-production product retouching notes for supporting photoshoots

  • Defines key looks independently by understanding seasonal business needs while translating the brand vision

  • Provides recommendations based on product buys and business investment (units, delivery and design) to ensure our best product is showcased during the appropriate period of availability within our channels

  • Makes hiring decisions independently on freelance Stylist talent

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with composure and adherence to deadline

  • Must be detail and results oriented

  • Interpersonal communication must be excellent, including strong writing skills

  • Must be able to find best solutions and developing methods to improve efficiency

  • Ability to work in a fluid environment with changing priorities required

  • Availability outside regular office hours, when needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4-5+ years work experience in similar role

  • Styling portfolio reflective of key responsibilities

  • Photoshoot Pre/Post Production experience a plus

  • Workfront or other project management experience a plus

  • Experience working in a variety of luxury and contemporary brands

  • Fashion Design knowledge and experience a plus

  • Bachelor's degree required; Marketing or Fashiong Merchandising, preferred

  • Ability to multi-task

  • Must be detail-oriented

  • Must be flexible to easily adapt to changing environments/priorities

  • Strong communication skills with various levels both internal and external to organization

  • Proven results related to creative process improvements in an e-commerce environment

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Strong sense of style

  • Ability to spot trends

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Apple Creative Suite, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Keynote

  • Basic knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)

This temp assignment has an anticipated length of 3-6 months, but is subject to change based upon business needs.

Pay Range: $30.00 - $40.00

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
