You will team with engagement leadership and junior technology advisors to design, build and deploy technology solutions which helps our clients enhance the transparency of financial reporting by assisting them as they shift their emphasis from General Ledger-centric Finance platforms to modern architectures based on atomic-level subledgers and more value driven, decision support and analytics.

*Your key responsibilities *

  1. Act as the lead technical developer for client engagements involving the development and delivery of new innovative, cloud-native subledger solutions.

  2. Develop and maintain a library of prototype subledger solutions that can be leveraged as technical assets in proposal situations, client education and EY WaveSpace demonstrations, and as project deliverable accelerators. Leverage the software components and services available on available EY cloud platform resources (e.g., Client Technology resources, Microsoft Azure, etc.).

  6. Establish governance practices and code-control protocols for the development and maintenance of Subledger practice technical assets.

  7. Lend specific subject matter knowledge to the design and build phase of each project, helping to give greater technical specificity to the proposed architectures, data models, system design and interfacing requirements.

  8. Assist in the recruitment and development of a team of junior developers to bolster our technical development capabilities.

  9. Participate in the evaluation of third-party vendor solutions and help maintain relationships with vendors considered strategic to the practice.
