The CNN Digital Research & Analytics Intern is responsible for analyzing performance of CNN Digital properties to support key business decision-making. The intern will part of a team that is integral in providing strategic and tactical insights to executive management and business leaders on digital analytics, media research, consumer insight, and the emerging technology landscape.
We are looking for an Intern to join the CNN Digital Research & Analytics team who will be responsible for tracking and analyzing key performance and engagement metrics across CNN Digital platforms and products, and in the broader news and information landscape.
Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Interest in Python, SQL, R
Curious, independent, self-starter and motivated to learn
Attention to detail and data accuracy
Strong writing and communication skills
Project and time management skills – ability to be organized and proactive
Embraces learning new skills, tools and analytical techniques
Curiosity to explore data, driven to understand the “why”, and a passion to draw connections
Interest in digital & analytics, news, emerging technology and media trends
Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th-August 12th; (additional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system ) must be available for full program duration
Full-time schedule (40 hours/week)
Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
