Lend Lease Summer Associate - Development in New York, New York

JOB SUMMARY
In this role as an Intern for the summer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders of the development teams on a range of activities ranging from construction, finance, marketing and consultant teams. You will gain significant exposure to the sales program and marketing of a large mixed-use residential tower in Morningside Heights and other potential acquisition opportunities throughout Manhattan and the boroughs.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist members of the Lendlease Development team for properties under development and those being considered for future investment. Depending on the stage(s) of the project(s), activities may include:
Scenario planning of a project development schedule.
Preparation of budget models for development.
Assistance with the research
Prepare data analyses, market research summaries and reports.
Participation in consultant meetings for design, marketing and operational issues
Working with legal teams on project legal documents and contracts.
Attendance at weekly construction and marketing meetings.
Participation in construction pricing exercises with the general contractor.
Participation in marketing strategy sessions.
Assist Development Group in coordinating the interface between the finance, legal, and construction groups within Lend Lease and with outside consultants. Gain exposure to these internal departments and understand their role and contributions to the development process.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Must be currently enrolled in an accreditedMaster'sDegree program in Business Administration (MBA), Real Estate (MRED) or related field, andscheduled toreturnto college in the Fall. (Graduating students please see the Cornerstone Program at )

Demonstrates curiosity about property development trends. Is aware of market and competitor activity.

Able to efficiently manage financial information to assist the team in making informed decisions.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and able to use financial models.

Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, capable of creating effective slides for communicating ideas and data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to professionally collaborate effectively with co-workers and others.

Will receive a competitive hourly internship pay. Housing will not be provided.
