Position Summary:

We are looking for engaged Information Security practitioners to join the Enterprise Information Security and Compliance (EISC) team as an Information Security Intern. In this role, you will support EISC in various assignments across multiple security disciplines.
As a member of our highly motivated and collaborative team, you will be working with business stakeholders, developers, engineers and project managers. You should bring with you a commitment to excellence and a strong sense of personal responsibility.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Complete day-to-day assignments supporting the work of EISC disciplines such as:
Security Technology and Architecture Risk Assessments
Threat Modeling
Security Incident Response and Investigations
Operational Security
Vulnerability Remediation
Security Testing
Security Training
Regulatory Compliance
Assist in the completion of specific projects within or across these disciplines.
Assist with documentation-for example: tracking and reviewing vulnerabilities and patching status.
Protect operations by keeping information confidential.Supervisory Responsibilities:

NoneMinimum Qualifications:

You must be 18 years of age or older.
Preference given to students in their junior or senior year who are pursuing a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field of study.
Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.Requirements and General Skills:

Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.Technical Skills:

Desirable but not required:
Programming and scripting skills
Hands-on experience acquired through part-time work, military experience or volunteer work with security or information technology tools or services
General security certifications from organizations like ISC(2) or SANS/GIAC
Vendor security or IT certifications from organizations such as Cisco or MicrosoftPlease note that all SiriusXM internships are paid.
