Position Summary:

SiriusXM is looking for an intern to join the Operations & Program Management team. The Operations & Program Management team works with various business lines across SXM such as Automotive Remarketing; which includes Used Vehicle Programs, Dealership & Shop Programs, Private Party sales and Affinity Partnerships, Marine, Aviation, Trucks, Fleet and Retail Sales. The team is responsible for supporting and managing multiple projects, deliverables and associated business processes such as requirements gathering, IT liaison for projects, coordination and management of testing, implementation and ongoing operational support. This individual will report to the Director, Operations & Program Management to assist in supporting various programs and initiatives.

The Operations & Program Management team plays a vital role in SiriusXM's subscriber growth. This position is a cross-functional role that requires excellent time management skills, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet goals. The intern will also collaborate with various key stakeholders, such as business owners, IT, Marketing and Finance to determine project scope, program expectations and various operational improvements, where identified.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Contribute to project management process from beginning to end; includes requirements gathering and documentation, requirements reviews with various teams and support IT, operational flows of data exchange processes and obtain approval from business teams, development life cycle monitoring; testing, implementation and post-production validation.
Track project scope, goals and deliverables, in conjunction with IT, that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Assist with monitoring project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Contribute to help identify and mange project dependencies and critical path items; working with stakeholders and business partners to resolve.
Think outside of the box to identify areas of opportunity for general process improvement and operational efficiencies within all areas of Automotive Remarketing, Affinity, Aviation/Marine, Private Party, Trucks, Fleet, and Retail Sales.
Support members of the Automotive Remarketing, Affinity, Aviation/Marine, Private Party, Trucks, Fleet, and Retail Sales teams with ad-hoc and recurring tasks and projects upon request. Collaborate with functional areas for reporting ideas and improvements.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
You must be 18 years of age or older.
Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.
Interest in a cross-functional role that works with business teams, Marketing, Finance, IT, Legal and various other areas of a company.
Requirements and General Skills:
Good project management and planning skills.
Personnel management skills.
Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Good public speaking and presentation skills.
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project). PowerPoint is a must.
