The interns within the finance department will assist in providing financial and analytical support to various business groups. The intern will assist in maintaining departmental financial models and will evaluate business costs related to contractual agreements as well as prepare associated financial summaries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist efforts to analyze historical results, trends, and economic factors across multiple business segments to forecast subscriber performance.
Prepare write-ups and commentary to senior management analyzing subscriber metrics.
Research and prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis.
Respond to multiple ad hoc requests for information from executives and various user groups.
Deliver timely subscriber reporting on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or MBA in finance, accounting, or related field.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Internships are open to current students enrolled at a university and recent graduates who graduated within the 12-month period prior to the start of the internship.
Requirements and General Skills:
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong financial analysis and quantitative skills; attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
Ability to develop relationships across various functions and departments and at all levels.
Commitment to "internal client" and customer service principles.
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
