David Yurman is hiring interns for Summer 2021! College students and recent graduates are invited to join us for a summer defined by innovation, creativity, and collaboration under the guidance of industry leaders in luxury retail. We are proud to offer roles across a variety of fields, such as Merchandising, Design, PR, and Legal, that will allow our interns to contribute first-hand to ongoing projects and build a relationship with our brand.

Marketing
Assist PR team with sample pulls for editorial and celebrity shoots
Provide support with press/editorial clippings on a weekly basis
Aid in digital media asset preparation for media agency
Update and manage media creative rotation with launch dates and finalized creative
Assist with tracking partner social and email
Update media Proof of Performance deck for campaigns
Partner with Creative team and track Creative Request Form status updates for marketing team
Support Marketing team by preparing documents and presentations for meetings as needed
Merchandising
Conduct market research and trend analysis reports for Women’s, Men’s, and Wedding divisions
Assist in competitive pricing analysis within DY and competitive sectors for Women’s, Men’s, and Wedding divisions
Review DY.COM to ensure all styles and new launches are present under guidance of Merchandising team
Assist with product note taking during any wholesale summer trainings
Support team by preparing documents and presentations for meetings as needed
Men’s Design
Assist in the creation of a design library with all archived designs in partnership with the Men’s Designers
Create job bags for shop samples and prepare submittals to both the Shop and CAD teams
Systematically archive closed job bags
Create products in Product Line Management system for upcoming DY markets
Legal
Assist in the prosecution and maintenance of the company’s intellectual property portfolio
Aid in brand enforcement efforts to find and prohibit others from infringing on the company’s intellectual property
Track status of contracts from intake to execution; help manage post-execution compliance
Conduct research on a variety of matters relevant to business operations and pending legal issues and summarize findings
Assist team with adhoc projects as needed
Finance
Administer reports to help drive and focus management’s responsibilities and objectives
Analyze monthly spend for departments budgets
Liaise with accounting and business teams to update financial forecasts and identify cost savings
Update reporting for key metrics such as capital expenditures
Assist with ad-hoc presentations as part of the financial analysis team for Senior Leadership team
Serve as a utility player within the FP&A department
Work with the rest of the Analysis team as the “internal consultants” for the Company – evaluating strategic alternatives, cost benefit analysis and other key decision making projects
All DY Interns:
Support teams with on-going projects
Join cross-departmental meetings to gain a better understanding of the business
Prepare and present an end-of summer project to DY Leadership Team
Will have the opportunity to assess our internship program and will also receive constructive feedback from our team members
May have the opportunity to work in local NYC stores and/or our Distribution Center in Lyndhurst, New Jersey
Undergraduate students currently enrolled in 4-year degree program; rising juniors and seniors preferred
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Interest in luxury jewelry
Ability to work in our NYC (Tribeca) headquarters full-time for 6-9 weeks during the summer
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Professionalism and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
CDC guidelines and DY Health & Safety Protocols must be observed throughout the program
This is a paid internship based in our New York City (Tribeca) headquarters. Housing is not provided.
