We are looking for a client-facing technologist who is customer service oriented, motivated, and eager to learn. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to get involved with a wide variety of projects in addition to assisting with the day-to-day support needs for our clients. Since this role is within our growing new NY branch, this presents the candidate with a unique and unlimited opportunity for growth. The candidate will learn from an established team of global Engineers in addition to seasoned IT leadership from the Financial Services industry.
Provide remote and on-site support, administration of Windows and Virtual desktops, laptops, Cloud Infrastructure, and mobile devices across our Global client base from 1.00 P.M. to 10.00 P.M.
Build and deploy Windows desktops, laptops, Cloud Infrastructure, Software deployment and configuration, management of batch processes and operations in an automated, consistent, and secure manner
Working the late shift, covering NY afternoon Business hours and early evening client support and ticket management
At least 1 year of Windows desktop support or systems administration experience
Information Systems or Computer Science or Engineering degree
Microsoft certifications and/or other formal Microsoft related training are major pluses
Proficiency with Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit or other automated OS deployment tools and/or imaging tools
Experience with WSUS and/or other patching software deployment tools
Experience with Mobile Device Management
Experience monitoring, supporting and managing complex environments
Networking basics, functional knowledge of TCP/IP, basic management of switches and routers, VLANs, WANs and edge devices such as firewalls, proxie
Great if you also have:
Financial services including market data and trading applications
Mac, iPhones, iPads
Active Directory, GPOs, DFS and Powershell
Virtualization, Virtual Desktops (VDI), PCoIP, Citrix, thin clients
Office 365, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
