The Talent Development Project Manager is responsible for executing on enterprise-wide talent development initiatives. This role is responsible for working with key stakeholders to implement projects in a way that address business needs, while providing a differentiated colleague experience. With a holistic focus on the employee experience across the colleague lifecycle, this position will support efforts to ensure that enterprise-wide programs such as, onboarding, career development & mobility, among other strategic talent development initiatives, are engaging, user-focused and simple. The Talent Development Project Manager will report to the Talent Development Lead. They will be a key contributor as we seek to drive greater consistency and collaboration and adopt a "One Marsh McLennan" approach.

**Talent Development Center of Expertise description**

The Talent Development Center of Expertise (COE) collaborates with the other teams in our people function to deliver core people services and programs that enable colleague development and engagement. The COE provides strategy, design, and subject matter expertise to the organization on talent development, learning, leadership, performance and colleague experience drivers, ensuring alignment between people and business strategies. The COE implements programs that are simple and user-focused in a fast-moving environment.

**Job responsibilities**

- Project manage talent development initiatives, with input from key stakeholders.
- Areas of focus will include, but not be limited to, onboarding, career development and mobility, and other strategic talent development initiatives prioritized by our people strategy.
- Engages end-users in the business and HR Managers directly in projects to ensure relevancy and ease of use.
- Ensures initiatives are effectively communicated and implemented, leveraging technology to enable scale and access.
- Drives for enterprise-wide standardization, while allowing for region/business-specific nuances where necessary.
- Develops project approach and materials by analyzing SME input, information, data, diagnostic assessment and reports.
- Reviews research on industry trends and learning and development and talent/performance management approaches, to develop programs, tools and processes.
- Ensures all projects are aligned to agreed relevant schedule, budget and objectives.
- May facilitate training sessions, meetings, focus groups, and interviews to support talent development efforts according to strategic initiatives outlined by program managers and leaders.


**Experience, knowledge and competence requirements**

- Project/program management experience required.

- Technical Experience: In talent management and / or learning and development practices, with a focus on ensuring for an excellent colleague experience that is relevant across businesses.
- BA/BS required; or equivalent international academic background preferred.

**Key relationships:**

- HR Managers: consult to understand talent priorities, define talent programming requirements and ensure appropriate sponsorship, engagement and alignment; provide guidance and tools to support effective implementation
- Talent Partners: collaborate to ensure programs are meeting business needs; provide guidance and business-facing tools on enterprise-wide programs to support effective implementation and consult on how to encourage standardization
- Talent Development COE: partner to develop the right experiences across all programs; ensures connectivity of content across levels and programs and alignment and integration of strategies.
- Talent Acquisition COE: partner to develop the right experiences for colleagues; aligning and integration of processes.
- Technology COE: partner to develop the right solutions for colleagues; aligning and integration of solutions and initiatives.
- Communications COE: partner to ensure the right messaging for colleagues.

- Reports to the Talent Development COE Program Lead
