Essential Functions and Primary Duties

  • Review high net worth individual returns, trusts, gift taxes, and flow through entities.
  • Supervise and develop associates.
  • Interact closely with clients to provide innovative tax planning, consulting, and compliance services in a timely manner.
  • Ensure complete client satisfaction through open communication, managing expectations, meeting deadlines, and proactively sharing tax saving strategies.
  • Train and guide junior level associates

Train and guide junior level associates.Preferred Qualifications

  • Must be a CPA, EA, and/or JD.
  • BS and/or master's in accounting.
  • Experience withAxcess Tax a plus.
  • * Experience with BNA a plus.
  • Superb communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Able to problem solve and think both creatively and logically.
  • Strong tax research skills.

Minimum Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6 years of experience in public accounting or related field
  • 3 years supervisory experience
  • Must have active CPA or equivalent certification
  • Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • The hourly target for this job in this market is $65.00-$85.00. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
