A successful applicant will be required to provide project management support for the delivery of technology solutions in the Financial Crime and Fraud technology space as follows:
Support engagement leadership to work with client and internal stakeholders to develop and agree on the project approach, plan, and timeline.
Facilitate project planning sessions and guide the project team using PMBOK and/or Agile/Scrum framework where appropriate.
Track, monitor, and report on project delivery status and progress to the project team, and internal and external stakeholders.
Identify, track, and communicate project risks and issues and, when necessary, escalate to project leadership.
Develop and manage project budgets, resources, and scope according to project requirements.
Participate in business development initiatives that include targeting external clients, attending industry conferences, and speaking engagements.
Management consulting/advisory company experience.
Experience with data integration/analysis related projects/solutions a plus.
Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and/or Scrum Master (CSM).
Experience managing financial services (AML/Fraud) technology related projects with multi-function teams.
Fraud, Transaction Monitoring Systems, Alert Generation/Case Management solutions implementation experience.
7+ years overall professional experience, inclusive of a minimum of 3-4 years of project management experience as a Project Manager or a Scrum Master.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree from accredited colleges/universities in related field(s).
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize and convey key insights from analyses to senior audiences.
Strong project management and time management skills, including managing several projects simultaneously and autonomously.
Demonstrated understanding of: Project management processes, strategies, and methods,
Software development life cycle, and
Agile/Scrum methodologies and framework.
Excellent organizational skills, and high degree of comfort working in unstructured situations.
Experience managing projects with teams from multiple locations.
Ability to travel when needed.
