Adviser Compliance Associates LLC Technical Writer in New York, New York
The role of Technical Writer is responsible for delivering well written user documentation and internal documentation for ComplianceAlpha products and modules.
What you'll do:
Work with various ComplianceAlpha module teams to understand the various tools and modules, assist in the development and maintenance of user documents (e.g. user documentation, training materials, etc)
Draft and publish clear and easy to understand client facing release notes after each sprint
Provide ad hoc support to ComplianceAlpha product team in drafting internal product specs and wikis
Write, edit and review document templates used in ComplianceAlpha
Update and maintain library of compliance risks, controls, and activities for the CM module
Proofread client facing emails and other content
To qualify for the role you must have:
Bachelor's Degree required
Five (5) years of related experience with a focus on technology and its associated terminology
Skills and attributes for success:
SaaS product experience preferred
Ideally, you'll also have:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to understand technical subject matter and produce documentation that can be understood by a non-technical audience.
Strong attention to detail and to the aesthetic presentation of written materials.
Must be very well-organized (e.g. cataloging, version control, etc.) and be able to work as part of a fast-paced team and meet demanding timelines.
Ability to translate findings to technical and non-technical professionals
Demonstrated professional integrity
Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs
Ability to exercise discretion and make independent judgments on matters of significance
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
Highly motivated and goal oriented; pro-active in one's own education and career progression; volunteers for and shows initiative on both internal and external projects and tasks.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
