Fashion Institute of Technology Temporary Part-Time Student Services Rep 1 - CCPS/ Pre-College in New York, New York

The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), an internationally renowned college of art and design, business and technology, of the State University of New York, invites nominations and applications for a Temporary Part Time position of Student Services Representative I in the Center for Continuing Education and Professional Studies- Precollege Program.

Job Description:

Provide telephone/reception coverage as needed including troubleshooting problems and disseminating basic information on established policies and course offerings. Process registrations, program changes, refunds, etc. for Precollege Program students. Perform clerical duties including collection and recording of Parental Consent data, processing paperwork, overseeing student needs, tracking attendance, and addressing the needs of the faculty. Seasonal projects as needed.

High school diploma and completion of two years in an accredited post-secondary institution of learning; or high school diploma and one year in an accredited postsecondary institution of learning and three years appropriate related experience; or high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Experience working with youth populations preferred. Computer experience with an emphasis on data entry required. Quality customer service skills, excellent telephone manner and the ability to work well under pressure are required. Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel required.

Additional Information:

Please note - Five (5) positions available. These positions are approved for 9 weeks

5 positions for June 1- August 3, 2022

Part Time - 29 hours per week

Salary Schedule 87/0 - $22.92 per hour

\* Primarily Mondays through Thursdays with some required Saturdays and Sundays.
