Do you have an interest in assisting clients with transforming the way they administer risk in order to improve their risk management programs?  More than ever, business is about interpreting and reacting to the complex financial regulations being implemented and they look to us for advice and services they can trust.  You will use your professional skills and experience to make it happen, assisting our clients to address the increasing pressures on IT risk management, Third Party Risk Management, IT Reg and Compliance, GRC, and Data Analytics

EY's Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) practice is the leader in providing innovative and practical TPRM solutions to our clients. The team has assisted hundreds of companies across all industries in improving and/or operating their third-party, vendor and supplier risk programs. Your key responsibilities

  • Operate as an Engagement Leader with responsibility for overall client engagement and delivery execution.

  • Lead a group of US-based and offshore resources, who work together to achieve client objectives. As the engagement lead, you will be accountable for all engagement success factors, including client satisfaction, financial performance, and the timeliness and quality of EY's services.

  • May include program transformation and the creation or execution of program enhancement roadmaps. Transforming third party risk programs allows our clients to better manager the risk of third-party service provider outsourcing and helps to build a more robust and resilient financial services sector and supports a better working world.

  • Utilizing a wide variety of technology to solve client problems from Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools to third party management platforms.

  • May also have exposure to program execution activities on third party risk assessments in which we assist our clients in executing their TPRM programs.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor's degree and approximately 5 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 3 years of related work experience

  • At least one relevant professional certification, such as CA, CGEIT, CIA, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CMA, CPA or CRISC or commitment to obtain within 1 year of hire

  • Proven experience in leading projects / programs preferably within the third-party risk management space

  • A thorough understanding of third-party (i.e., vendor, supplier, etc.) risk management, focusing on information security, data protection, resiliency, and/or other relevant operational risks

  • Understanding of global risk regulatory requirements with emphasis on US (OCC Bulletins, FFIEC, FRB, FDIC) or UK (PRA, FCA)

  • Knowledge of ERM/GRC concepts and third-party risk management topics including information security; data privacy; leading security standards (ISO27001, NIST); certification reports (SOC 1, SOC 2) or control frameworks (COSO, ISO, COBIT, OCEG, etc.)Experience leading current-state program assessments, transformation design, or execution/delivery/implementation of third-party risk management programs or roadmaps in one or more of the following domains: governance and oversight, policies and standards, third-party lifecycle processes, inherent and residual risk modeling, engagement risk profiling, third-party inventory, risk-based due diligence, TPRM technology, process automation, metrics and reporting

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Prior consulting experience with a Big 4 firm, large global financial institution, or other financial services industry experience

  • Client relationship management, financial management, or sales experience

  • Experience in IT Risk Transformation services such as ITRM, GRC, Data Analytics, Data Protection, or Regulatory Compliance

  • Familiarity with TPRM or GRC software

  • Exposure to US regulatory requirements such as Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) or the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB)

  • Ideally TPRM related certification such as CTPRP pr CTPRA

  • Willingness to travel 25% or more as needed in a balanced hybrid/remote work environment

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $110,200 to $202,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $132,200 to $229,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
