EY's TMT practice is seeking well-qualified Solution Architects at the Manager level to support our media and technology clients in in our media and entertainment-sector. Our architecture practice is recognized by industry analysts as a leader in leveraging business and enterprise architecture to drive strategic business transformation through enhanced IT capabilities. We serve clients across all major industries and work with organizations of different sizes, helping guide them to achieve business success while delivering strategic IT value. Your key responsibilities
As a Manager, you will play a very critical role in formulating and executing our go-forward strategy and assisting organizations through their architecture journeys. We look for individuals who have a keen critical thinking mindset and who have a passion to solve complex business and technology challenges. You can expect to be accountable for executing projects, managing executive client stakeholders by being the primary point of contact to media and technology clients and leading diverse teams. You will also play an integral part in helping lead sales and business development efforts to grow the practice and our people.
The key responsibilities for this role include:
Guiding organizations in solving business and IT challenges through solution architecture capabilities.
Advising organizations in imagining, designing, and implementing competitive business capabilities that harness emerging and scaled technologies (such as Cloud, Blockchain, AI, and Internet of Things (IoT)
Providing subject matter expertise on various architecture areas including technology, information, data, security, and integration
Advising media and technology clients on developing the target architectures, performing architectural assessment and gap analysis and helping formulate the overall solution strategy and roadmap
Building trusted relationships with client executives including business/IT leadership and CIOs
Serve as a trusted advisor for solving complex business challenges
Providing deep technical expertise on all areas of solution architecture and on all stages of solution development life cycle
Guiding organizations with building out reference architectures and assist the client through the execution of reference architecture
How your skills and experience will make an impact
To qualify for the role you must have
A bachelor's (or advanced) degree with 4+ years of digital transformation experience with media or technology clients
Demonstrated subject matter expertise in design and implementation of solution architecture including one or more of the following domains: technology architecture, information architecture, data architecture, application architecture, security architecture, and integration architecture
Experience implementing and architecting large scale, innovative IT solutions to drive business transformation – experience may be in one or more technology stacks that are open source, PaaS, AWS, Microsoft, Java, or other scalable enterprise foundations
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a diverse and uncertain business environment
Experience with systems integration (including delivering projects related to COTS, custom, ERP, CRM solutions etc.) and deep expertise in software development methodologies (agile, waterfall).
Current knowledge of global industry and IT trends and the impact that these might have on an organization
Ability to build and maintain a book of business, ability to lead proposal writing efforts and attain specific yearly sales targets
The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel to meet client needs
Ideally, you'll also have
A track record of learning and implementing technologies from a broad spectrum, including working current familiarity with one or more technologies like cloud development, AI, blockchain, and Internet of Things (IOT) technologies
Fluency in the development and use of solution architecture frameworks and patterns.
Certification in solution architecture, e.g., Java EE Enterprise Architect, from a recognized organization is preferred not required.
Experience in similar consulting firms and demonstrated track record of providing consulting services to organizations
Familiarity and exposure to Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies (Zachman, TOGAF, Gartner, etc.).
