Citigroup TTS-eReceivables Product Manager--AVP in New York, New York

The Emerging eReceivbales Product manager is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.


  • Product strategy and product management for key NA Emerging Receivables and Instant Payments capabilities, including Present & Pay for Consumer, Instant Payments and Citi Verify; thas well as development of new capabilities and solutions based on market demand

  • P&L Management (reporting and analyzing financials to ensure goals are being met) with focus on fee growth and expense rationalization.

  • Client segmentation and targeting.

  • Risk and Compliance management and governance.

  • Vendor Management.

  • Sales enablement and support for complex deals. Significant engagement with Clients is expected.

  • Creating business cases that will drive investment decisions and product development roadmaps, including cross-product collaboration across the NA P&R team.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, service, legal, implementations, and sales to identify requirements and deliver solutions to our clients.

  • Launching/Commercializing new products or product enhancement.

  • Developing product pricing strategies.

  • Lead initiatives designed to improve client experience and increase product usage, based on feedback from Voice of Client and other surveys/feedback.

  • Training of Sales, Account Management and Coverage teams, as well as client communication.

  • Work with Market Management (NA and Global) and Global P&R teams to ensure and replicate best practices within NA.

  • Work with Marketing and Market Management on external strategy & events.

-Conduct Market Research.

-Create and maintain updated cross-product TTS NA marketing materials.

  • Regulatory overview and specific materials for different segments.

The AVP, Emerging eReceivables Product Management role will offer a candidate the opportunity to help drive revenue growth and overall P&L improvement for a critical segment of the NA Payments & Receivables business. Considering the number of clients and integrated nature of the business to TTS, the candidate will also benefit from significant client exposure and visibility within the firm across functional areas. Further, there are many industry changes that will require the candidate to work with internal risk, compliance, audit (internal and external) and external regulators.  


  • The Product Manager should have 2+ years of work experience in Product Management, Market Management or Sales, ideally working with various Payments/Receivables solutions and/or other Trade and Treasury (TTS) Solutions products.

  • Strong business management (P&L), analytical, communication and client facing skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Capacity to proactively anticipate, identify and resolve problems.

  • Strategy oriented with ability to multi-task.

  • Propensity to seek and develop linkages among products and client scenarios.

  • Desire to drive projects from ideation or assignment to execution.

  • Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to present internally and externally to senior executives.

  • Appetite for challenging assignments.

  • Bachelor's degree, MBA or CTP a plus.
