The opportunity

The EY Pega Practice is currently seeking a Pega UI/UX Engineer willing to bring their skillset to our solution delivery team. You will contribute to the creation of designs for digital products and experiences, from concept to implementation. Please note, this role does not assume initial Pega experience, though that is preferred. If hired, you will be tasked with completing a series of trainings in the online Pega Academy to become familiar with the platform and get hands-on development experience.

Your key responsibilities

This role will operate simultaneously across several unique projects, providing guidance, recommendations, design, and hands-on development where needed.

  • Leverage technology expertise to bring ideas to life

  • Take the lead on technology-specific work streams or tasks, including presenting and collaborating within client or internal projects.

  • Work with an engagement team to manage client and project expectations and schedules.

  • Produce artifacts such as wireframes, prototypes, visual design specifications, style guides, pattern libraries, motion design, and presentations for a variety of client types and industries.

  • Directly develop front-end experiences in the Pega design platform

  • Participate in the development of approaches, processes, and workflows that guide the execution of design work.

  • Demonstrate an interest in mentoring others by sharing your expertise and experience.

  • Identify opportunities of improvement, critical functionality/ enhancements, and the low-hanging nice-to-haves that will further improve delivery

To qualify for the role you must have

  • 5+ years' experience in web and/or solution interface design (this must include HTML, CSS, and JS)

  • Proficient in using wireframing prototyping tools, in Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar

  • Understanding of low-code/no-code development platforms, Object-Oriented programming concepts, and Agile software implementation process 

  • Experience communicating and interacting with clients

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience and/or certification in Pegasystems, in either Business Architect or Solution Architect capacity

  • Experience with React (preferred) or Angular JS

  • Experience with other digital process solution platforms, e.g. Salesforce or Appian
