Pixel Academy Unity Instructor, Digital-Tech Afterschool Program in New York, New York
Become an Instructor at Pixel Academy and make a difference in the lives of kids and teens! We're looking for an energetic, passionate instructor to teach Game Design with Unity.
During the school year, you will work with kids ages 7 to 14 in small groups, teaching them how to use Unity to create video games! Projects include 3D modeling, working in VR, working with our Looking Glass holographic display, and building a game in Augmented Reality.
This position is part-time on a few weekdays during the school year and is paid hourly. Successful instructors have the opportunity to work during the summer as well. This position is for students and recent graduates looking to join the ed-tech world in a growing small business!

Advanced proficiency in Unity
Experienced in game mechanics, design and programming concepts
Available on weekday afternoons, occasional mornings/weekends

Ability to use the Pixel Academy for your own projects and ideas (including 3D printers, laser cutters, Oculus Rifts, etc.)
Kids are hilarious and you will enjoy your life more working with them
