The Role…

Soho House & Co is looking for a full-time US-based Editor to oversee, curate and deliver first-in-class content from North America and LATAM. This is a permanent role that sits within Soho House’s global content team.

Reporting to the Group Director of Content and working closely with our US Heads of Membership and Communications, you will be responsible for managing the Americas content from start to finish. This includes ideation, creative direction and commissioning of original content, plus the curation of syndicated members’ content for our digital platforms (dotcom, the SH.APP, social) and events, occasionally organising logistics and budgeting.

This is an exciting time to join a growing creative team, as video, audio and multimedia become a priority across our content portfolio, including editorial, comms and marketing, events, retail (Soho Home), and health and wellness (Soho Health Club).

Main Duties…

  • Manage, curate and deliver best-in-class members’ content from the Americas on a monthly basis.

  • Work directly with the content team in London, and collaborate with membership directors and events teams in the US to ensure our Americas content fits within the overall content strategy and monthly themes across all platforms.

  • Work closely with the Heads of Membership and Communications in each region to facilitate Member Cultural Committee meetings.

  • Responsible for editorial calendar maintenance and updates.

  • Help identify and curate guests and talent for digital features, film, radio events, marketing communications, events, and social.

  • Support the content team with pick-up pitches and story leads for content from across the business.

  • Support the digital team with making updates to copy across all platforms and ensuring information is up to date.

  • Help monitor, moderate and coordinate aggregated content from the US, including House Studio and UGC contributions.

  • Ensure internal and external presentations are up to scratch.


  • Five years of experience in a digital-first content environment, either for a media/ journalism brand or in-house for a lifestyle/ hospitality company.

  • Experience working with international teams and across various time zones.

  • Passionate about lifestyle, fashion or hospitality and travel, and in the know about key trends in these sectors.

  • A multi-platform enthusiast and an avid consumer of new media formats.

  • Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks and last-minute requests.

  • Have an unflappable, can-do attitude in a highly energised and deadline-driven environment.

  • Experience with Keynote, PowerPoint and/ or InDesign is a plus.

  • Understanding of digital content creation and processes, including SEO and metadata.
