Your key responsibilities

As a UX Manager you will manage the user-centered design approach of our client's digital products and manage design deliverables to ensure a great user experience and a realization of the client's product visions. We are looking for someone willing to take smart risks, champion new ideas, and continually elevate the quality of our work.

  • Responsible for driving the delivery of sitemaps, wireframes and prototypes, as well as conceiving and conducting user and stakeholder research as needed.

  • Ability to lead and ideate products from scratch and improve features within a user-centered design process.

  • Lead the design team to identify strategic design and user experience decisions, and rapidly test and iterate your designs.

  • Facilitate workshops on topics across both design and consulting skillsets.

  • Teach the ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.

  • Collaborate with other team members and senior client stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and expert in articulating design solutions

Skills and attributes for

We're looking for a leader who understands and inspires teams with interactive experiences, channels, and systematic design principles. The right person will be self-motivated and can effectively communicate design processes, ideas and solutions to teams and clients with strong aesthetic sensibilities. A team member who possesses an understanding and ability to incorporate technology and architecture feasibility in information architecture and interaction design. Technical excellence in the following areas.

  • Ability to teach design and knows the latest design trends. Designer sould be able to use tools such as Figma, Sketch, InDesign, InVision, programs User-centered design and testing methodologies

  • Experience designing across multiple platforms and working with technical/design teams to create user flows, wireframes, and building user interface mockups and prototypes.

  • UX Research (Service Design, Journey mapping, Personas, Contextual Interviews)

  • Visual Design competency in design system and Data Visualization is a plus.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in user experience design, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Human Computer Interaction, Interactive Media, Interaction Design, Human Factors, Cognition Psychology, Cognitive Science, Communications, Informatics and Design or a related field

  • 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree and 4 years of work experience.

  • UX design experience (preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments)

  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Sketch, Keynote, InVision and other prototyping software

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • A portfolio showing your user-centered design process and representative work

  • Passion and interests in working in the Financial Services industry or

  • Writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills preferred

  • Knowledge in the industry's latest trends and technologies and be active in the design community

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $128,400 to $235,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154,100 to $267,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
