Job Description:

Chase is seeking a highly effective and innovative Digital Product Manager to support the rapidly growing product development efforts of Chase Digital. In this role, the candidate will support the Digital Guidance team using their expertise in mobile user experience, product development, and design along with their history of supporting successful product releases. Digital Guidance is developing the next generation of tools and capabilities to empower Customers to better manage their money and improve their financial health. Collaboration with other business and engineering product owners will be required to develop a unified customer experience across all varieties of consumer product sets.

The VP Product Manager will be part of the Goals and Financial Management product group – which delivers financial management capabilities across digital (mobile, desktop, etc.) and physical touchpoints (branch, service center, etc.). Capabilities on the roadmap support journeys, including recommended actions, that will help Customers manage and monitor their spending, savings, borrowing and investing. The VP Product manager will lead a workstream and work closely with partners across Design, Tech, and CCB business (e.g. Consumer Bank, Card, Mortgage, etc.) Candidate will support the development of all aspects of the product line (managing small and medium sized products). Participates in the development, implementation and coordination of the product strategy, including the product's pricing structure. Responsible for building and maintaining the product roadmap.

Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for digital and emerging technologies. In addition to being a seasoned, well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.


  • Collaborate with design, engineering, operations, and marketing teams to drive new digital product initiatives

  • Help define new product and feature business cases working collaboratively with business and engineering teams across Chase to ensure a unified product landscape

  • Help build and present end to end executive product updates inclusive of current production metrics, new feature delivery planning and financial forecasting

  • Help define product initiatives for new features and optimizations of existing ones, and incorporate them into product roadmaps

  • Work to Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of product initiatives

  • Work closely with the engineering and cross-functional stakeholders to define a roadmap that meets business and consumer needs, while meeting critical deadlines and budget constraints

  • Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of features, with a mind toward user and business benefits and tradeoffs. Identify market opportunities and define product strategy to reflect those

  • Provide clear vision and scope documentation, use cases, workflows, wire-frames, design and product requirements, and other materials as needed to support UX design and development

  • Help to create a proposition roadmap from MVP to market leading through a customer centric design focused approach and innovation

  • Monitor cross-impacted initiatives and stakeholder communications to ensure business needs are met

  • Track and analyze metrics compared to industry benchmarks, publish reports on product performance, trends and risks/opportunities for both short and long term

  • Support teams that track and manage business case metrics and financial planning models ensuring that product delivery stays on track and on budget


  • 7+ years of digital product management or relevantexperience as well as record of individual technical achievement

  • Experience in defining and building out product roadmapand business models

  • Understanding of financial modeling, forecasting andtracking as it relates to product delivery

  • Ability to influence stakeholders with diverse points ofview

  • Structured thinker, effective communicator withexcellent written communication skills

  • Ability to prioritize projects and efforts according tobusiness need and industry trends

  • Familiarity with the business services and offeringsassociated with Chase

  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelinesand calmness under intense pressure

  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-upteam

  • BS or MS in Business Management or comparable field ofstudy

  • Demonstrable experience working in retail banking,payments, e/m-commerce, online and mobile platforms

  • Experience with agile product development techniquesand continuous integration philosophies and practices for speed to marketis a plus
