The Business Messaging Group’s mission is to become the primary way that people and businesses communicate. Meta’s messaging products - WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook Messenger - reach more than 2 billion people and are used by more than 100 million businesses. This role will lead the growth of our paid products across all Messaging apps through direct relationships with Meta’s business clients.We are seeking a seasoned leader who is passionate about technology and changing the way people communicate with businesses. In this role, you will lead all end client sales activities for our business messaging products. You will own acquisition of new customers from lead to close, and growing/upselling our customers after they are live on the product. You will build and lead a global organization and play a key role in broader Meta business priorities.The successful candidate will be a natural leader who has led global sales in a SaaS business. They will be highly entrepreneurial, strategic, and results-oriented with proven success in building and leading a global team, building sales programs and processes, and cross-functional collaboration. This role will report to the Vice President of Business Messaging.

Required Skills:

  1. Drive business messaging customer acquisition globally, and customer retention and growth, ensure goals/objectives are met with respect to market adoption, expansion, renewals and product usage globally

  2. Build and lead a highly-motivated and high-achieving global Sales team, including hiring, training, mentoring and leadership

  3. Drive sales cycles for critical wins. Successfully uncover problems, present solutions, manage the sales cycle and close deals in important and high-visibility transactions

  4. Drive operational excellence in the sales organization, from pipeline through to retention

  5. Personally engage with C-level client leaders in market to build and own client relationships and deepen Meta’s strategic value to our largest global clients

  6. Represent Meta around the world, as a spokesperson and evangelist

  7. Partner closely with internal product teams to ensure client capabilities requests are represented on the roadmap and manage expectations accordingly

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 15+ years experience in B2B/SaaS Sales

  2. 5+ years experience running a global B2B/SaaS sales team

  3. Track record of delivering sales pipeline and customer growth with Enterprise customers for software products

  4. Big-picture thinker with the experience solving detail-oriented issues in a fast-paced, always-on, highly ambiguous start-up environment

  5. Process orientation, with a total-system way of thinking and experience rolling out global processes and programs, and leveraging best practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience managing executive-level relationships at the C-level, a sense of empathy and dedication

  2. Experience adapting to a rapidly changing product and responding strategically to customer needs to drive satisfaction

  3. BA/BS degree
