What you’ll do

As the Vice President, Talent Management & Human Resource Business Partners you will be responsible for creating and implementing the evolving talent management strategy for KIND. You will lead a team of HRBPs and Specialists in developing, engaging and retaining KIND team members. One that partners with leaders and people managers in reinforcing and evolving our KIND culture. Your impact is in the design of these strategies, leading the team, partnership across the business to understand our business needs and ensure implementation of our Talent strategies. As a member of the HR leadership team you will help lead the function on the design and implementation of overall HR strategy and of the development of the KIND HR team.


  • Collaborate with department leaders and their teams to ensure talent strategies are linked to our business priorities, support individual team members, departmental, and company-wide ambitions

  • Partner with departments on hiring and development and advancement of team members

  • Lead change management efforts, nurture our culture and create unique team member experiences

  • Own and accelerate KIND’s Mentorship and NEW programs, and lead/Partner with our DEI team to ensure that our focused attention and the actions we take are building on our culture.

Build Team and Individual Capabilities

  • Understand the skill needs for team members today and prioritize internal and external resources to build capabilities

  • Build skills through needs assessment, creation of and access to toolkits, resources and training, facilitating meaningful developmental experiences in alignment with the business and culture

  • Measure impact of skill building efforts and refresh as required for maximum impact

  • Understand capabilities that are successful in KIND and lead career pathing, progression to drive these knowledge skills and abilities at each level

Talent Processes, Culture & Engagement

  • Lead KIND’s approach to performance management for goal alignment, feedback and accountability. Design systems that measure and distinguish high-performing individuals. Align systems/processes with company goals and priorities for accountability to drive business forward.

  • Ensure KIND is setup for success in the future through talent assessment, review and succession planning

  • Lead, listen & respond strategically to ensure culture is alive and thriving in all parts of KIND. (Culture survey, ongoing conversations to understand Team Member needs and areas for development and to advance the KIND culture)

Required Experience:

You have…

  • At least 15+ years of experience working in Talent Development/HRBP roles

  • At least 3 years of experience managing a team

  • Experience as an HR Business Partner

  • Undergraduate degree preferably in HR/ Psychology /Business

  • Experience with budgeting, vendor partnerships/management and negotiations

  • Demonstrated success in managing and leading through change efforts

  • Have experience designing and leading training programs that have impacted behavior


  • A Masters in HR, Psychology or MBA with HR concentration

  • Coaching certification and practical experience

  • Practiced with system thinking and design thinking
