We seek a seasoned leader to join the Video Sales Specialist team and manage and develop a team of video sales specialist who will work directly with both Holding companies and client direct. They will need to support vertical sales efforts and drive budgets through agency teams around strategy and buying groups. Drive and set marketplace behavior around streaming video for Amazon. They will also need to work across multiple properties and Amazon teams to drive results.

This leader will be responsible for the multi-million-dollar opportunity to align and focus our advertising sales strategy across video properties as one Amazon brand propelling us to the top tier in video advertising.

Key job responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast growing and entrepreneurial organization, bringing innovation and growing adoption of Amazon Ads. In particular you will:

• Act as a thought leader and senior executive within Amazon Ads. Drive the overall sales function, sales vision, and value proposition to grow our video sales approach across all video properties.

• Drive adoption of Amazon’s video advertising offerings, leading a team of Video Sales Specialist

• Contribute to the end-to-end strategy for positioning, pricing, packaging, and planning of Amazon’s Video advertising offerings.

• Drive innovation to help position Prime Video as the #1 Streaming Service and long term growth opportunity.

• Apply a deep understanding of all 1P and 3P measurement tools for streaming.

• Ideate with Brand partnership Team to develop branded integration opportunities and unique sponsorships.

• Hire, develop and lead a team of sales specialists.

The ideal candidate will possess a revenue and strategic leadership background within video both linear and digital that enables them to drive a comprehensive sales strategy around how Amazon approaches video advertising.

Basic Qualifications

  • 12+ years of B2B sales experience

  • Experience managing teams

  • Experience hiring and retaining sales talent

  • 10+ years selling video media across agencies and clients

  • Experience in selling both linear and Digital

  • Ability to engage and Maintain C Level relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management

  • Ability to path new work flows into an organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $141,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $263,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
