The Tommy Hilfiger Internship Program offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in their department, Interns will attend various cross-functional presentations, learning sessions with Senior Leadership and have the opportunity to work with Interns across the PVH brands on community outreach.
The Visual Communication intern supports the Visual Communication team with the development of the Visual Merchandising & Creative Services communication for North America Wholesale. This role will provide the opportunity to partner with different departments as it pertains to Visual Communication as well as various seasonal Visual Merchandising projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Assist in Visual sample check in process
Organize seasonal samples
Upload all CAD and product information
Assist in the seasonal Floor Concept processes
Attend local door floor-sets
Assist with seasonal displays, windows, and event set-ups/ recaps
Attend field communication business review and mapping processes
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
PC proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience with Visual Retailer
Strong communication skills
Organized and detailed oriented
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS:
- All departments. (Except Finance)
Manage priorities for multiple tasks/projects while adhering to deadlines. Detail oriented & innovative traits are necessary. Must be flexible and adapt to changing projects.
Ability to work fluidly and adapt to changes in a work environment required. Ability to meet deadlines when priorities shift.
*Please note that applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program during the Fall 2019 semester. School credit is offered but not required. A candidate's application acknowledges that they will be available to intern a minimum of three full days per week throughout the duration of the program, which lasts from September 9 through December 6 (with Thanksgiving week off).
