THE BRAND MANAGEMENT TEAM

THE JOB

This position will lead the relationship and activities of Live Nation’s strategic brand partnerships across the beer, wine and ‘beyond beer’ vertical. They will be responsible for maximizing the value of these relationships. Focused areas of impact include:

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Lead portfolio of client business totaling more than $20M in revenue across multiple brand partnerships

  • Manage and direct 7+ reports across Sr. Director, Director, Sr Manager and Manager levels

  • Continuously strengthen relationships with client leadership teams through exceptional client service, detailed knowledge of client’s industry and business, impeccable program delivery and client engagement

  • Develop detailed understanding of client’s business and identify strategic opportunities for business and/or brand growth through entertainment marketing programs

  • Position Live Nation as a strategic resource throughout client’s marketing team – both internal and external staff

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key Live Nation teams to ensure the desired program delivery and results for clients

  • Provide direction for your team in terms of program execution, resource deployment, program recaps and reporting, and special projects/initiatives

  • Lead creative program development for key client relationships that grows Live Nation’s revenue and operating margin

  • Oversee contractual agreements including negotiations/renegotiations, deal structure, contract development and ultimately the delivery of the contract

  • Oversee the financial management of client relationships including margin performance, budgets, invoicing, and other relevant financial activities while optimizing program performance

  • Assist clients in achieving ROI goals that will ensure maximum renewal opportunity

  • Foster an environment which is team-oriented and in which the exchange of ideas among staff is encouraged

  • Function as key advisor, decision-maker and member of senior management team

  • Explore new technologies, marketing trends, and data & analytics practices to add value to clients

  • Identify opportunities to engage internal resources to develop and sell-in new creative concepts that strengthen the client’s brand positioning in music / entertainment marketing

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Background & Experience

  • 15+ years direct experience in brand management, brand partnerships, client service, media or entertainment, and/or marketing consulting, advertising or activation agencies

  • Previous experience with CPG, beverages and/or alcohol brands strongly preferred

  • Work with recognizable global brands preferred

  • Successful record in building, selling and delivering innovative marketing programs with measurable results

  • Experience with cross-functional teams

  • Knowledge of consumer and market research with ability to implement into decision-making and management

  • Track record for winning and/or growing business

Qualifications & Skills

  • BA required

  • Exemplary project management skills including managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • A proactive, collaborative and organized working style

  • Proven ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure

  • Deep curiosity in emerging trends and their applications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • You must have the ability to successfully present to brand partner CMO one day and then roll up their sleeves and do the work the next day

  • Ability to travel 30% of time or more in season; often nights and weekends and occasionally without significant advanced notice

  • COVID-19 vaccination will be required for this position subject to legally valid exemptions
