What You Will Do: The VP of PPD Business Development will be responsible for increasing the top and bottom-line revenue stream of the PPD Brands through the strategic planning of Salon driven initiatives, aligning Brand priorities and the PPD Salon strategy. This position will be responsible for the build out of Brand Activation as well as partnering with the GMs and PPD Marketing Heads on strategic initiatives with respect to brand positioning, in-salon activations, product launches, promotions, and services. The VP of PPD Business Development will foster strong relationships and collaborate with Brand and SalonCentric business partners to strengthen the partnerships between the PPD Brands, SalonCentric and our stylist community while looking through an omnichannel lens. The VP will serve as the right hand to the SVP, PPD Commercial Sales and will be a decision maker as it pertains to sales budgets, allocation, sales events, education, and activations across all channels. This role will oversee a team that supports all 7 PPD Brands (REDKEN, Matrix, Biolage, Pulp Riot, L'Oreal Professionnel, Pureology and Mizani). Develop and foster strong partnerships with General Managers and Brand Sales Leads, SalonCentric Business partners, Brand and support teams Proactive sales analysis and communication with SVP regarding business successes, opportunities, and risk Identify trends, successes and opportunities related to the national market; use this data as the basis for promotional and merchandising program recommendations Proactively analyze national PPD Brands and SalonCentric promotional and activity calendar to plan and prioritize Big Bets, ensure appropriate level of support, and mitigate conflicting brand focuses across PPD Create and implement strategy to ensure maximum ROI achieved when planning and utilizing fuel to support street business Develop long-term measurable goals for Business tools provided to salons What We Are Looking For: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 10 - 15 years sales experience within the professional salon products or retail industry required Proven ability to lead, develop and elevate teams Ability to travel extensively (Minimum 40%) Proven sales, communication, supervisory and coaching skills Proficient computer skills necessary (Microsoft Office, Power BI) Preferred Qualifications: Retail & previous stores experience Previous experience working with a distributor Competency in PPD product knowledge and programs What's In It For You: Salary Range: $177,300.00-$252,700.00 (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Pension Plan) (Paid Company Holidays, Paid Vacation, Vacation Buy Program, Volunteer Time, Summer Fridays & More!)
