Position Overview

P3 (People, Platforms, and Precision) is Mediahub's hands-on-keyboard data-driven and platform activation teams consisting of Search, Paid Social, and Programmatic/Addressable media disciplines.

The VP Director of SEO is a proven agency leader and Search channel strategist, possesses excellent client service and team-building skills, and has a track record for securing new business. This is a critical leadership role, tasked with leading and growing the SEO practice via demonstrating the role and value of SEO in integrated marketing campaigns for both internal and external/client stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Build, mentor, and retain a world-class SEO team, with a focus on expanding talent on both the technical and content sides of SEO.

Spearhead and set overall SEO department vision and develop the SEO and Content practice at Mediahub.

Continue to cultivate the agency's Amazon search practice across a host of Amazon search arena's including but not limited to: voice search, product page optimizations, Amazon store builds.

Collaborate with various media planning, activation, and analytics teams across the agency to guide strategic thinking, and growth for client business.

Guide greater integration with paid search, helping to input ideas and product development to expand Mediahub's bespoke integrated search solutions, SearchHUB.

Nurture and cultivate client relationships with key client stakeholders.

Develop strong partnerships with SEO vendors and business partners, staying ahead of industry trends and guiding innovation.

Support agency leadership in writing POVs, thought leadership pieces, case studies, award submissions and sharing good work across the agency as well as the industry.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience: Minimum +8 year of experience required; +4 years of people management.

Platforms: Conductor, Brightedge, Ahrefs, Buzzstream, Spyfu, SEMrush, Sellics Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Microsoft Webmasters Tool; Current certification is a plus.

Software: Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) and Keynote.

Communication: strong written and verbal communication required.

Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, collaborative mindset, desire to teach/mentor, problem solving, creativity, curiosity and openness to receiving feedback

The salary range for this position is $175,000 - $225,000.

Where you are paid within this range depends on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as your background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.

As of January 2023, Mediahub has adopted a flex work model in which employees work from their dedicated office at least one day per week.
