We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative and fun-loving team members, and are looking for a VP of Merchandising to come join our New York based headquarters.

In this role you will be responsible to work across multiple platforms by providing direction, leadership and support in order to drive and execute seasonal business strategies with a progressive, customer centric approach to meet or transcend the division?s top line financial objectives. The ideal candidate is agile, has extensive experience in the Merchandising space, excellent business acumen, the ability to collaborate and lead a large team, and is results-oriented.


  • Establish product vision and merchandising line plan for all product categories

  • Guide team to evaluate and accelerate the business based on sales, history, company and market trends

  • Lead the CFT to accelerate results at the department/category level ? provide timely direction and clear communication to all CFT members

  • Create relationships through proper partnerships that contributes to an effective, high performing, solution- oriented team

  • Team up with Visual to ensure store set mirrors big, impactful ideas and key items have proper placement

  • Develop and assist the drive of strategies across cross-functional teams; motivate risk-taking

  • Oversee & deliver departmental financials

  • Communicate with candor and value open debate to ensure the best ideas come to life


  • Bachelor?s degree in Merchandising or related field

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in complex, best-in-class consumer and lifestyle-oriented companies; apparel experience, preferred.

  • 5+ years of prior management and team leadership experience

  • Solid understanding of digital experience and working knowledge of Private Brands

  • Proven experience in leading teams in a changing and ambiguous business environment

  • Results oriented, high energy leader, with the vision and management skills required to direct and motivate a team

  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across departments and divisions and lead change

  • Demonstrated leadership, problem solving and strategic planning skills

  • Demonstrated ability to learn & lead functions outside of core competencies; cross-functional experience is optimal.

  • Strong product sense

  • Outstanding analytical abilities conceptual skills

  • Exceptional communication, presentation and negotiation/persuasion skills
