Warehouse Associate Duties
The responsibility of this position is to execute all aspects of the warehouse, including the following:
Execute the receiving and storage of all supplies, fixtures, props and VM inventory ensuring they are accessible and damage free
Execute store requests from all departments in a timely manner based upon the event, installations and needs of the store
Partner with the BG delivery team to insure timely deliveries on the twice a day BG truck between store & warehouse
Execute effective and safe use and maintenance of warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jacks etc.)
Ensure cleanliness of the work site including loading dock, storage areas, hallways, common areas and immediate building vicinity; partner with Housekeeping Dept. if needed
Monitor storage areas, hallways to ensure there are no violations of the OSHA and fire regulations and take necessary steps to correct or prevent them
Execute garbage disposal in accordance with the local recycling law including use of the carboard compactor
Organize warehouse to improve how items are handled, stored and delivered to prevent damages to the props, furniture, and fixtures.
Maintenance of warehouse in conjunction with the NMG facilities team. Monitor site conditions and report all substandard conditions proactively. Remain diligent until the situation is complete, ie; lights, heat, air conditioning, plumbing, etc.
Monitor conditions of the Spray booth, report substandard conditions to the user's team.
Execute requests from the following departments:
Store Operations and Housekeeping
Shipping, packing, cleaning supplies - manage, maintain inventory and fulfill any requests in a timely manner
Storage of equipment for winter season - such as salt spreaders, shovels, snowplows...
Visual, Windows/Interior
Furniture (Tables, chairs, cabinets, glass cases, fixtures...)
Fixtures (rolling racks, stands, platforms...)
Interior visual props (artwork, sculptures, wallcoverings...)
Holiday props (holiday platforms, trees, lights...)
Mannequins and bust forms
Windows props
Cosmetics
Assist with the GWPs and other non-inventory items for all brands - on time receiving and maintaining storage areas clean and organized
coordinate store deliveries on a daily basis as per needs of the business
Anticipate and execute all aspects for the beauty bag event, receipt of bag, setting up production space for making beauty bags
Coordinate delivery of completed bags based upon the needs of the event
This position reports directly to the warehouse manager.
This is an on-site position
