The Digital Wealth Management (DWM) team is charged with creating a fully integrated, elegant and seamless digital experience across the entire life cycle for both clients and advisors, creating a compelling omni-channel experience that both creates efficiencies for all JPMorgan and Chase clients. We build the strategic vision and execute programs to bring to life this digital experience, driving 360-degree client engagement. Our organization works closely with the business, both in Global Wealth Management and Chase Wealth Management, with teams aligned to front-office regions, service teams, strategy and solutions teams, marketing and technology. This structure enables us to create solutions that drive revenue, increase advisor efficiency, improve client satisfaction and grow market share.

Position Overview:

Digital Wealth Management is seeking a highly effective and innovative Digital Goals Planning Product Manager to help lead the rapidly growing product development of digital capabilities within the Digital Wealth Management organization. They will be responsible for enhancing the firm’s goals planning capabilities for both Chase and JPMorgan clients including tools and experiences to help Clients articulate goals, understand tradeoffs, set a path to achievement, and track progress towards goals. In this role, the candidate will help drive and manage short term and long term initiates on the goals planning roadmap using their expertise and influencing skills to optimize the client experience within mobile and web.

The ideal candidate has experience delivering goals based planning or personal financial management features and tools for mobile and web, and will report to the team lead for Goals Planning Product. It will also be important for the candidate to understand enterprise finance business models, tracking roadmap delivery and strategic execution is a critical component of the role.

The desired candidate will partner across the business to execute on an ever evolving roadmap to drive business objectives forward as well as keep JP Morgan on the leading edge of the rapidly changing technology landscape. They will lead cross functional teams of core engineering, design and business partners from across the firm to deliver robust feature sets to market.

The desired candidate will be outcome-focused with a practical orientation to developing and maintaining an innovation lifecycle product roadmap, agile mindset, and have a management style that fosters teamwork and collaboration. Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for digital channels. In addition to being a seasoned, well trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.


  • Serveas a cross-functional leader to collaborate with design, engineering andmarketing teams to drive new product initiatives

  • Leadthe build out of goals planning components of the DWM product roadmap andfeature set with focus on ensuring JP Morgan stays on the leading edge ofdigital capabilities

  • Workclosely with business and technology teams in developing a cohesive goalsplanning journeys that delivers the best products for our customers

  • Engageclosely with stakeholders to define a roadmap that meets business andconsumer needs while meeting critical deadlines and budget constraints

  • Helpdefine product initiatives for new features and optimizations of existingones, incorporate them into product roadmaps

  • Definenew product and feature business cases working collaboratively withbusiness, engineering and design teams to ensure a unified productlandscape

  • Provideclear vision and scope documentation, workflows, detailed businessrequirements, use cases and other materials as needed to support design,development and infrastructure

  • Integratedata analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive andmarket analysis, and company goals to drive prioritization of productinitiatives

  • Understand,manage, and communicate prioritization of features, with a mind towarduser and business benefits and tradeoffs, identify market opportunitiesand define product strategy

  • Responsiblefor driving plans to execution, deployment, and refinement

  • Trackand manage business case metrics and financial planning models ensuringthat product delivery stays on track and on budget

  • Helpprepare executive product updates inclusive of current production metrics,new feature delivery planning and financial forecasting

  • Managestakeholder communications to ensure business needs are met, set andmanage expectations through effective written and oral communication

  • Trackand analyze metrics compared to industry benchmarks, publish reports onproduct performance, trends and risks/opportunities for both short andlong term


  • 5-7years of financial management or personal financial management product experiencewith proven track record of delivery of new products and features

  • Demonstrableexperience authoring business requirements, defining user stories andleading execution including bringing together cross functional teamswithin an Agile development framework

  • Expertisein defining and building out product roadmap, prioritizing projectsaccording to business need, producing business models

  • Abilityto influence people at all levels across a broad variety of job functions

  • Thoroughunderstanding of financial modeling, forecasting and tracking as itrelates to product delivery

  • Structuredthinker, effective communicator with excellent written communicationskills and willingness to ask awkward questions

  • Demonstratedability to manage tight delivery timelines and calmness under intensepressure

  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up teamin a large organization
