The ReEntry Program is a 15-week fellowship program, beginning April 22, 2025 and ending July 31, 2025 with the prospect of an offer for permanent employment with JPMorganChase at the end of the program. The permanent placements will be based on both business needs and candidate skill set.

As a Fixed Income Specialist within the Market Strategy Group, you will work with a global team of fixed income specialists who advise clients and advisors on positioning fixed income managed solutions in the context of market and strategy views. You will be a global fixed income expert across all Core, Advisory, SMAs, mutual funds (JPM and 3rd party where offered) as well as those solutions with fixed income-like attributes

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with a global team of fixed income specialists who advise clients and advisors on positioning fixed income managed solutions in the context of market and strategy views

  • Act as a global fixed income expert across all Core, Advisory, SMAs, mutual funds (JPM and 3rd party where offered) as well as those solutions with fixed income-like attributes

  • Partner with advisors to understand their client base, identify opportunities for new business growth and retention, and prepare for and participate in client meetings primarily in specific coverage region

  • Partner with the local leadership team (both in specific coverage region and globally) in driving and retaining long-term fixed income flows

  • Partner closely with the manager selection and fixed income strategy teams globally to stay in step with current views, insights and opportunities particularly as it relates to the quarterly investment themes

  • Facilitate the education of advisors through various presentations and discussions (e.g., team huddles, regional calls, global morning meetings, videos, written commentary, office-hours); help train new Advisors on how J.P. Morgan manages investments

  • Serve as the senior leader for client events and meetings related to fixed income portfolios and markets-related content

  • Partner with the Regional Portfolio Specialists (RPS) to ensure the delivery of timely insight across asset classes and regions, with a prioritization toward quarterly investment themes

  • Engage proactively in the investments dialogue directly with various investment teams (e.g., CIO, portfolio managers, manager selection)

  • Partner with the appropriate teams to develop new fixed income solutions to capitalize on market dislocations and/or cater to specific client needs

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:

  • Fixed Income experience in direct investing or client portfolio management at an Asset Management firm, Wealth Manager, Investment Bank, or Institutional Investor (e.g., Sovereign Wealth Fund, Endowment)

  • Excellent communication, presentation and public speaking skills to clearly and passionately articulate our investment process and views to a wide variety of audiences (from one-on-one meetings to larger audiences at conferences and events)

  • Strong technical skills related to global financial markets

  • Demonstrated aptitude for sales and client relationship management

  • Superior multi-tasking; strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Positive outlook and proactive disposition

  • Experience with managed accounts, SMAs, mutual funds, active and passive managers

  • Good judgment and discretion working with highly confidential information

  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and the ability to help the team create digital content for client presentation decks and asset class pitchbooks.

  • Self-motivated problem solver, capable of addressing a wide range of client aptitudes from novice to seasoned investment professionals.
