JPMorgan Chase Wholesale Payments - Head of Integrated Marketing - Managing Director in New York, New York

J.P. Morgan is seeking a talented leader to head up the Integrated Marketing team for the Wholesale Payments business - one of the most exciting and rapidly changing areas in the entire financial services industry. The successful candidate will be a highly creative, digitally savvy, innovative, well-rounded, and results-driven marketing executive interested in driving a major growth initiative for the company.

The Head of Integrated Marketing is a leadership role reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer of Wholesale Payments, and will lead and grow an established senior team of high performing content marketers, creatives and campaign leads, channel teams (web, social, events, RM), performance marketers, and marketing analytics experts. The creative, content, and experiences produced will span all products and solutions from merchant services, to blockchain and next-gen payment innovations, to digital wallets, to global trade, payables, commercial card and more. This role will require close collaboration across product marketing, planning, technology, PR, sales, operations, and all business partners - as well as third party agencies, vendors, and creative/production resources.

The Head of Integrated Marketing is foundational in shaping and driving the look, feel, tone, communications, experiences, and overall creative manifestation of Wholesale Payments and associated products in order to drive relevancy with our target audiences, improve the sales funnel, and elevate overall market perception. Primary responsibilities will include driving cross-portfolio creative alignment, fully-integrated campaigns across all channels, content development (digital, social, video, events), thought leadership and editorial, client communications strategies and execution, and marketing measurement and analytics.

The successful individual is an inspiring and talented people leader, highly creative and visionary, has a deep understanding of the modern marketing landscape and digital-first strategies, and can operate at the highest strategic altitudes but also down at the most tactical and executional levels to deliver excellence and creative fidelity. Candidate must work effectively in a matrixed environment, as this role requires close collaboration with senior product leaders, product marketing teams, legal, PR, media, compliance, sales, and other business functions.

Responsibilities include

  • Lead the creative strategy and execution of Wholesale Payments marketing campaigns, content, activations, events, and more across all channels

  • Develop and produce world-class creative, content, assets and editorial to drive market relevancy and customer acquisition and deliver against the business goals

  • Drive key stakeholder alignment internally to extend reach, amplify, and promote across all earned, owned, and paid channels

  • Accountable for building the measurement plan and assessing the ROI of marketing programs and providing insights back to the business

  • Execute go-to-market strategies and plans, partnering with product marketing teams and central resources to deliver content, experiences, and key value props to customers based on core strategies

  • Lead a team of senior marketing directors and their teams in developing and delivering against the marketing priorities in the integrated marketing space

  • Help lead the rhythm of the business marketing forums, workflows, and communications as part of the marketing leadership team and broader org

  • Help drive the marketing operations process, ensuring that the various marketing functions properly and effectively execute in a collaborative way for highest ROI

  • Track and manage marketing budgets and build business cases for growth initiatives, paid media, and net new channels

  • Oversee the improvement of marketing technology stack and ensure that our digital products are constantly growing to suit client needs

  • Identify opportunities that lead to the growth of the business through marketing innovation while still maintaining the fundamental business goals/priorities.

  • Foster a high level of collaboration across the firm to align and execute product strategies, ways of working, and global delivery

  • Remain at all times aware of the competitive position of JPMC's products and act / react accordingly to maintain advantage and differentiation in line with firm strategy

  • Understand the differing client journeys and sales cycles and contribute to the integration of our overall client journey

  • Build and grow the relationships with technology, business and marketing partners to design and implement digital experiences

Qualifications

  • •Masters or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required

  • •15+ years of experience in Marketing, preferably at major global brands (could be across B2C, B2B, or platforms); payments, fintech, and/or technology experience a plus

  • •Proven track record of driving high-impact integrated marketing programs and campaigns at scale

  • •Strong expertise in creative leadership and production, including creative briefing, agency management, the paid media landscape, and overall executive leadership in the creative integrated marketing space

  • •Experience and passion for building integrated cross-channel creative plans and assets, ranging from video, to digital, to events, to influencer, to print and more

  • •Digital expertise with a passion for emerging technology, new channels, innovations, and trends

  • •The ability to creatively resolve issues, understanding business constraints of resources, budgets, and timelines, while remaining adaptable and flexible

  • •Results-oriented; demonstrated history of exceptional work that has a direct impact on business results and understanding how to track, measure, and prove impact

  • •Appetite for innovation, testing, iterating and learning

  • •Strong executive presence; comfortable interacting with and presenting to all levels of management

  • •Demonstrated experience in managing complex marketing and digital projects, with oversight of multiple resources and completion of multiple projects simultaneously within a region or globally

  • •Possesses intellectual horsepower, is highly creative and strategic

  • •Expert in a range of digital tools/technologies; experienced in evaluating and managing vendors; seasoned at measuring digital performance including user experience

  • •Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking and the ability to apply that to client communications and creative plans

  • •Able to effectively lead and/or collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver and market products

  • •Excellent oral and written communication skills with a proven track-record of successfully briefing team members at all levels of an organization

  • •Pragmatic and client-focused; willing to be innovative and take calculated risks.

  • •Positive, team-oriented attitude and inspiring leadership skills a must
