PVH Corp. Wholesale Planner - Tommy Hilfiger in New York, New York

Lead in the development of seasonal department plans by class that meets the division’s financial budget and merchandising gross margin objectives. Determine business trends due to holiday shifts, store promotional calendar, zero out dates for seasonal merchandise and penetration of businesses. Ensure division’s objectives of gross margin components are met. This position collaborates heavily with sales, demand planning, operations and account partners in order to achieve our financial and company goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Build pre-season sales, inventory, markdown and margin plans by class for key accounts

  • Provide pre-season sku targets by category/account

  • Weekly analysis of item selling trackers / total sales (top side flash) by account by class

  • Maintain by account seasonal OTB and recommend necessary receipt flow / markdowns. Understand and reference pricing ladders

  • Create OTB proposals, by door seasonal sales and stock plans by account – tailoring receipt needs recommended programs to meet needs of each individual customer’s geographic and climactic concerns

  • Monthly analysis of business by door by account – recommend future receipt adjustments, direct merchandise coordinators to problem doors, capitalize on future growth opportunities

  • Report / call out color / style trend to design staff / sales & sales management

  • Analyze / recommend by account quarterly margin settlement – provide up front (4-6 weeks in advance) forecast of margin needs by account by class

  • Participate in the presentation of the seasonal sales plans to the retailer senior management – prepare the meeting materials including sales plans, account histories & other supporting documents as needed

  • Develop seasonal budgets that meet the divisional sales and gross margin goals

  • Develop supporting seasonal strategic business plans

  • Develop seasonal merchandise gross margin components and objectives at department and class level

  • Lead the budget process team that includes merchants, planner and store planner

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3-5 years of experience in merchandising, planning, or distribution

  • Technical knowledge in PC based systems and application software including Microsoft Suite. Advanced Excel skills required including Vlookup and Pivot Tables

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Must have strong time management skill and ability to handle multiple priorities

  • Experience in Wholesale/Retail/Omni Planning, preferred

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Pay Range: $90,000 - $100,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills.
