The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for an Wholesale Sales Coordinator located at our New York City Showroom. The Wholesale Sales Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations of the Omni Channel Sales department while helping with the execution of the long-term commercial strategy. This position is the first point of contact and liaison for all customer service calls and the processing of orders which includes missing orders or items, late shipments, quality issues, returns, exchanges and cancellations.
Accurately capture, modify and communicate customer orders and requests through internal systems or EDIs, initiate credits and transfers, and update customer contact information
Ensure accuracy of stock count and closely monitor all stock losses to ensure it is kept at a minimum
Analyze inventory and enter drop ship orders for Alexis Bittar & Carolee accounts
Update PO’s, ship windows, remarks, prices, DC locations, closing and converting of PTF orders, etc.
Review vendor guides to ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated to our warehouse
Process reports for past cancelled orders & work closely with Sales team to cancel or extend and communicate updates to the warehouse
Monitor quality issues ensuring any return to vendor is sent back to the warehouse for credits/replacements, as well as oversee any customer repairs
Proactively work with the warehouse to manage the fulfillment of orders
Monitor inventory levels to maintain accurate counts and communicate any discrepancies to the warehouse, ensuring adjustments are then made
Work with Sales and IT departments to resolve issues regarding EDI orders, including duplicate PO’s
Review order allocation in advance with the warehouse
Preferred Experience & Technical Proficiencies:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 3-4 years experience in wholesale and sales operations
Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
Prior retail sales or wholesale experience is necessary
Proactive and self-motivated team player
Familiar with different vendor portals a plus
Strong knowledge of MS Office, excel, word, etc.
Solution oriented with the ability to provide a “concierge” level of service to our valued customers
Experience working with various operational systems, e.g. SAP
