The Tommy Hilfiger Internship Program offers bright, motivated individuals the opportunity to receive mentorship, supervision, and training. In addition to gaining hands-on experience in their department, Interns will attend various cross-functional presentations, learning sessions with Senior Leadership and have the opportunity to work with Interns across the PVH brands on community outreach.
The intern will assist the Wholesale Visual team from the early planning stages to the in-store execution of all visual direction for the season. The workload will take place in both the corporate office and local stores.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:
Organize seasonal samples
Assist in the seasonal floor-set processes and merchandise guideline photo shoots
Assist in all CAD and product information uploads
Attend local door floor-sets and training sessions
Assist with seasonal displays, windows, and event set-ups/ recaps
Attend field communication business review and mapping processes
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
Studying Visual Merchandising is a plus
PC proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Proficiency in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Experience with Visual Retailer
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CONTACTS:
Our team works closely with many cross functional partners including Sales, Store Planning, Merchants, Design, and Marketing
Creative and open minded individuals who are able to think outside the box
Quick learner and asks questions when needed
Has good time managements skills and can follow through on a task from beginning to end
50% of work is done in stores and can be physical
*Please note that applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program during the Fall 2019 semester. School credit is offered but not required. A candidate's application acknowledges that they will be available to intern a minimum of three full days per week throughout the duration of the program, which lasts from September 9 through December 6 (with Thanksgiving week off).
