Position Summary:

Travel Retail is one of the fastest growing, dynamic, and fast paced channels in the world.

The Assistant Marketing Manager position plays a pivotal role in driving Origins in Travel Retail Worldwide. This position works closely with the Director / Executive Director to develop TR specific consumer engagement initiatives and provides brand support including day-to-day management while meeting long-term growth objectives.

The position partners closely with the Travel Retail regional teams based in Singapore and London, TR teams (Demand Planning, Distribution, Finance, Merchandising, Digital) and Global teams (Consumer Marketing, Product Marketing, Education, Supply Chain, Creative).

Job Description:

•Develop 360° consumer marketing programs to build brand awareness, boost consumer demand, and drive conversion.

•Partner with Digital and Communications teams to craft the brand’s digital strategy and to create effective digital and social campaigns.

•Manage operational processes and submissions for demand forecasting, pricing and new product launches.

•Responsible for leading all aspects of new product launch activity including but not limited to forecasts, creative, merchandising, promotional and saleable elements in cooperation with the relevant support teams.

•Manage relationship with the Distribution teams (Lachen) paying close attention to launch delivery timelines, Excess inventory management and out of stock communications to the Regions. In addition, monitor key launch sell thru and provides feedback to functional partners.

•Manage master assortment and SKU activity with Regional Teams and Lachen.

•Track all seasonal merchandising documents and planograms, with Visual Merchandising. Managing communication of VM elements needed from VM per season.

•Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis, with particular focus on Travel exclusives. Help analyze performance and manage process for Origins exclusive sets.

•Create all Creative requests and track them, working closely with brand, to help support regional requests, including in-flight visuals/copy, special events, etc.

•Manage day to day requests from regional and global teams, acting as a key point person for TR WW. Communicate with each regional office (London & Singapore) to ensure their needs (creative, visual merchandising, programming, etc.) are met.

•Responsible for the preparation of marketing presentations for sales meetings and retailer presentations including the coordination of all Marketing-related support materials (e.g., product, comps, lab samples, visual concepts, etc.).

•Work on a variety of special projects as necessary



•Bachelor’s degree

•4 years marketing and/or operational experience, preferably at a consumer goods company.

•Experience with digital engagement platforms, digital campaign creation a plus

•Strong computer skills required, especially in Excel and PowerPoint

•Candidate must be organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
