What’s the job?
This position finds, develops and manages growth relationships with large Architectural firm accounts and generates demand resulting in incremental commercial sales for our extensive line of services and solutions.
As part of the entrepreneurial Commercial Solutions team, the Business Development Manager plays a key consultative role working with customers to “Build Better”: high performing and sustainable buildings that enhance the Occupant Experience (OX). In this role, you will be the valuable resource and primary contact for your accounts and their clients to access all that Saint-Gobain has to offer. Through building science insights and consultative services, you will create demand and lead to the full portfolio of Saint-Gobain commercial solutions, including façade & interior glass/glazing, architectural ceilings, gypsum, roofing, cladding, insulation, solar & security films, performance wall coverings, and more.
We need someone who is… client-centric, a connector of people, curious, strategic, energized, tenacious and disciplined with a positive attitude, who can contribute to a high performing team and is able to work autonomously to develop partnerships that delight the clients and help them meet their business objectives.

What do you bring?
5-8 years in similar customer facing sales role working with large Architectural Firm accounts as clients
Account development & management (national and regional)
Consultative selling approach developing “basis of design” specifications for commercial building materials
Experience in initiating and developing new client relationships
Strong project tracking skills working with channel partners
Demonstrated success in securing & growing new “basis of design” specifications with large Architecture firms as clients
College degree preferred
A strong professional network
Good understanding of commercial construction process
Strong user of sales technology
Ability to travel overnight as needed up to 50%
Ability to transport up to 50 pounds of samples literature
