Vail Resorts Director, Global Treasury in New York

Job Summary:
The Director, Global Treasury is an integral part of the Vail Resorts Finance team, and is responsible for developing and executing global treasury strategy, including liquidity and cash flow optimization, as well as supporting all cash and treasury management activities across Vail Resorts, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, account optimization, and administration. This role reports to the Vice President & Assistant Controller and works closely with the senior management in developing strategies and providing strategic advisory.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic treasury & centralized liquidity management and optimization
Contribute to the development of capital market strategies, ensuring treasury’s role facilitates business expansion and financial flexibility
Develop and execute a global liquidity and cash flow optimization strategy, including dynamic short-term forecasting and efficient cash deployment
Manage day-to-day cash/treasury functions including but not limited to: cash management strategies, corporate borrowing, investing, cash flow planning and forecasting, foreign exchange management, cash receipts, and cash disbursements
Identify and monitor best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to deliver best in class Treasury services
Assist in providing analytical and strategic input into the Company’s cash management processes, procedures, and capital structure
Spearhead the evaluation and implementation of next-generation Treasury Management Systems (TMS) with advanced automation, FX desk capabilities, and real-time banking integrations.
Assist in developing finance and business presentations such as: Board of Directors presentations, executive staff presentations and lenders’ presentations
Serve as primary point person for the Company’s banking relationships and owner for critical cash controls
Establish and maintain excellent relationships with vendors, customer finance teams, shared services teams, accounting and corporate finance teams
Support ongoing acquisition and integration efforts
Ensure all Treasury activities are in compliance with accounting guidelines, regulatory requirements (FBAR filings, etc), company policies, and internal controls
Maintain high level of confidentiality within the organization as well as with external contacts
Requirements & Key Attributes:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; MBA or professional certifications (CTP, CFA) preferred
Experience: 10+ years in treasury, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing global liquidity and commercial banking relationships
Technology: Proven track record in evaluating and implementing treasury management systems. High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
Strategic Vision: Ability to develop forward-looking treasury strategies that support a growing international business. High level of intellectual curiosity and strong desire to play active role in corporate finance operations
Very strong financial acumen, including corporate finance, treasury management and business analytics
Superb attention to detail and ability to multitask and manage numerous simultaneous priorities
Strong emotional intelligence and ability to engage in successful business partnering and relationship building with written and verbal communication skills
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $151,000 - $193,000 + annual bonus + equity. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
