Travel Retail is one of the fastest growing, dynamic, and fast paced channels in the world.

This Marketing Director position plays a pivotal role in driving TOM FORD in Travel Retail Worldwide. This position works closely with Executive Director and provides brand support including day-to-day management while meeting long-term growth objectives.

The position partners closely with Travel Retail regional teams based in Singapore, London and Miami, TR teams (Demand Planning, Distribution, Finance, Merchandising, Digital) and Global teams (Consumer Marketing, Product Marketing, Education, Supply Chain, Creative).


Responsible for the development and execution of Travel Retail Worldwide Marketing Strategies and Programs for TOM FORD that will enhance brand equity, improve market share, ensuring brand objectives are realized and financial targets associated with the brand.


  • Manage the strategic and creative direction for TOM FORD in Travel Retail Worldwide. Adapt Global brand strategies to the TR Channel in areas such as Marketing Calendar, Visual Merchandising, Design and Consumer Profiling / Insights. Develop 360-degree consumer engagement plans.

  • Ensure marketing activities support retail sales and strategic goals

  • Cascade annual/ seasonal marketing plans to marketing regional leads. Ensure regional teams connect their short-term execution plans to the long-term brand strategy

  • Lead consumer engagement efforts and strategy for TF including media campaigns, social and influencer by ensuring 360 campaign execution

  • Partner closely with marketing team, cross-functional teams and regional teams to ensure 360 GTM marketing plans

  • Own 360 marketing calendar and support 360° strategy to achieve market share growth – 24 months marketing planning

  • Partner with TR integrated marketing team to drive social/digital strategy and create media briefs. Lead media planning with global brand

  • Liaise with global brand consumer engagement team to evaluate new and innovative capabilities and channels. Adapt global programs to enhance the experience relevant for the traveling consumer (HPP, Events)

  • Develops Marketing Presentations for Regional Travel Retail teams, including Go-To-Market Strategy for all key launches

  • Responsible for keeping up with and cascading Consumer/Shopper insights and turning insights into actionable plans for consumer engagement initiatives

  • Identifies market trends, maintains awareness of competitive activity in the Travel Retail Channel, and identifies new digital/social trends.

  • Work closely with the Executive Director of marketing on TR exclusive (TREX) programs, identify portfolio gaps, and white space opportunities. Manage program and artwork initiation with cross-functional team (artwork creation, packaging, and translations).

  • Drive TR relevant assets based on needs, trends, consumer analysis and data – collaborate with global on concept briefs

  • Responsible for the creation of marketing presentations for sales meetings and retailer presentations

  • Works on a variety of special projects as necessary. (Competitive Studies, Strategy, Pricing Analysis, Presentations)

  • Nurture, develop and manage one direct report


Qualifications & Core Competencies

  • Minimum 8 years of relatable experience

  • Strong product/promotional development and project management skills with sense of follow-through

  • Ability and maturity to manage a multitude of projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Balance between analytical and creative thinking

  • Ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships with the cross-functional and regional teams

  • Position requires a flexible, independent, well-organized individual

  • Excellent communication and writing skills.

  • Candidate must demonstrate strong managerial skills

  • Ability to navigate among multiple constituents, platforms and communities to ensure strategies/goals are understood and met

  • Digital and social media skills a plus, awareness of Asia market social media platforms

  • Candidate must be a detail-oriented, self-starter and a team player.

  • Strong computer skills required, especially in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

  • Pop culture and trend savvy

  • Ability to travel
